Kimberly had finished flipping through the translation book and was just waiting on Robin to work through each word trying her best to get it into an actual written word. They had only one words done so far: The.
The door swung opened.
"Uh K? There's an emergency?" Steve had his brows furrowed.
She quickly got up and followed after him, "Is everything ok?"
"I don't know they just said it was an emergency and needed you."
"They?- Oh." She grinned realizing who was asking for her, "Ah that kind of emergency."
"Kimmy!" Max shouted and went around the counter, grabbing her hand, "Come on!"
She laughed and let Max pull her away from Scoops Ahoy. When they finally went into the first store, The Gap, is when she finally spoke. "I'm assuming Hopper didn't give you permission to come to the mall, did he?"
Max and Eleven shared and look, but Eleven's face was more worried compared to Max's mischievous smile.
"That's all the answer I needed, alright if he asks or you get in trouble blame me. Do not under any circumstances say you left on your own, ok? I can easily cover for you and Hopper will believe me."
Eleven and Max grinned and nodded. They giggled and Eleven began to look around the store.
Kimberly smiled as she watched Max explain shopping to Eleven.
"Do you like that?" Max looked up at the shirt Eleven was looking at.
"How do I know... what I like?"
"You just try things on. Until you find something that feels like you."
"Like me?"
"Yeah. Not Hopper. Not Mike. You."
Eleven smiled.
"Max I think we better give her the works," she smirked.
Max grinned and grabbed the shirt in Eleven's size, while Kimberly grabbed some accessories. They both ushered Eleven into the dressing room, smiling the whole time.
Eleven came out and looked in the mirror once Max had fixed her beret. She snapped the suspenders and laughed. Kimberly chuckled and her eye caught something.
She quickly grabbed the colorful outfit and held it up to Eleven could see.
"That, I want to try that," Eleven gasped, her eyes wide in excitement.
Kimberly laughed and handed it over so she could change.
Eleven came out and went over to the mirror again, with a wide smile.
She flipped her head over to fix her hair a bit, and grinned loving the outfit. Max grinned watching how happy her friend was.
"Bitchin'," Kimberly smiled.
Eleven laughed and nodded.
Kimberly's eye caught onto some red sunglasses and passed them over to Max, "These are so you."
Max grinned and tried them on. Eleven nudged Max and pointed to something behind Kimberly, and then pointed at Kimberly.
Max gasped and rushed forward to grab it, and made Kimberly try it on.
It was a very brightly patterned bucket hat, with different shades of green and had vine-ish patterns all over it. It was so Kimberly.
She did as the younger two girls wished and tried it on, laughing alongside them.
