Okay so this just starts here because this is the only place my oc's going to do anything and the first 13 chapters would just be copy pasted

Also some shit is skipped because it only involves sophie, hence there'd be no different from the book

Della smiled sadly. "You're going to like Grady and Edaline. And June."

Her palms dampened at the strange names. "What're they like?"

"They're great," Alden promised. "They run an animal preserve at Havenfield, so they always have all kinds of exciting things going on."

"Do they have any kids?"

Della glanced at Alden.

He looked away. "Grady and Edaline lost their first daughter about fifteen years ago. Her name was Jolie. She was twenty when she died. It was a terrible accident. But they gave birth around three years later, to a daughter. She's June. Fitz and Biana have spent a good amount of time with her, since she came to Foxfire. She hasn't manifested yet, but my children say she's amazing. According to them, she has potential to manifest earlier than Fitz - though certainly not you," Alden said with a small smile. "I'm not sure if they'll bring Jolie up. Don't pressure them. I won't deny that their loss has affected them, but they're still three of the most wonderful people I know. You're going to like them." He offered her his hand. "Come on. Let's go meet your new guardians and sister."

Havenfield wasn't as fancy as Everglen, but it certainly was a castle with a mansion backyard compared to human standards. The walls were clear and made out of glass, and a spiral stairway led upstairs. Sophie quite admired the elegance of the building, the way it seemed beautiful without much decoration. Quite like the girl she saw sitting cross-legged on the stairway.

She had light blue colored eyes with faint traces of grey. They were like the sky, open and expansive, everchanging and mysterious. Her long black hair fluttered behind her almost magically, and she was wearing white, silky robes that pooled at her feet. She wore no makeup, but she still had an air of confidence, and an ever-present small smirk on her lips. Sophie could tell this was not a girl you wanted to anger.

"Hi," she said eloquently. Her expression was curious but friendly. Sophie thought that she looked much prettier than Biana. "Nice to meet you. I'm June." She offered Sophie her hand.

"Hi," Sophie said, shaking her hand. "I'm Sophie."

June smiled. "I like you. You're going to be interesting to have around. How old are you?"

"Uh, I'm twelve years old. Are you-"

"The same," June cut in. Her smile widened, and her eyes sparkled. The wispy grey lines in her eyes seemed to dance around her irises. "We'll be in the same Level at Foxfire, as well as Dex and Biana. You'll get to see Fitz and Keefe too. You'll like them. But first, I'll help you get the stuff you need."

Sophie nodded. "Thank you."

"This is really all mine?" Her bedroom took up the entire third floor.

June looked impressed. "Even mine's not this big." Sophie noticed she subtly glanced at her parents, with something flashing in her eyes. It wasn't jealousy, but something more suppressed. Frustration, perhaps.
