it's bonding time! CH4!

"I'm slightly worried," Faye admitted, pacing along June's bed. Sophie and Keefe were upstairs, doing who knows what -- heck, maybe it even involved stealing secret kisses in a frilly closet, who knew -- so she had parked with June in her room.
The corner of June's lip traced up. "You, worried? The world is ending."
Faye scowled. "Shush. I can be very mature if I want to be."
"You sound just like me," June mocked sarcastically.
"The fuck? No I don't. Are you kidding me?"
"She's becoming just like me," June sang in an angelic tone, almost like she was performing fanfare. "How cute."
"Now be sensible-"
"Maybe she'll get a boy~friend," June giggled, incredibly out of character. "Or a girl~friend. Hm~mm, I wonder who she li~kes?"
"I'm going to murder you in bed," Faye swore, menacingly whipping out her Ace of Spades and letting the edge dance on her shoulders.
"I can be a very enticing wingwoman, you know," June whispered flirtatiously in her ear before she tossed her hair and smirked at her smugly. "But you'll have to tell me who you li~ke."
"You will be the death of me," Faye muttered, burying her head in June's pillows out of pure embarrassment. "Why am I your friend?"
"Because you lo~ove me."
Faye grunted. "One more toe forward and you're crossing the line."
"Oh no!" June cried, putting her hand to her forehead as if a damsel in distress. "Whatever shall I do? Oh, no, miss, please don't lash out in rage, miss! I will kiss your feet in penance-"
"That's it," Faye snapped, lunging at June and tackling her into her closet. The heavy oak doors burst open and June squealed as Faye shoved her into the mountain of fancy gowns, and the girl was quickly swallowed by the cluster of white silk clothes.
"Now you know not to mess with me," Faye remarked satisfactorily as June struggled within the silken heap. Dark hair bounced up the flouncy laces and eventually June's head popped out of the stack.
"That was just mean," she pouted. "You've just broken the girl code. No one messes with another girl's dresses."
"That doesn't exist."
"I've just ruffled at least half my dress gowns." June frowned, examining the mess she just made. "These will take forever to clean up."
"Aww." Faye tousled her shoulder-length hair, messing the decorative braid up slightly and disheveling several flyaway strands. "Cu~ute."
"I'm sounding just like her," June observed, an adorable mope coming into her eyes. "I'm an absolute disgrace."
"That I agree with." Gentle electricity cackled in the air as Faye settled down into June's covers.
"Hmph. Bitch." The wind picked up slightly, caressing Faye's cheeks and loosening her high ponytail, whipping several strands of blue hair before her eyes.
They sat there in silence for a while, contemplating their choices.
"You did look very pretty yesterday," June said after a few awkward minutes. When Faye raised an eyebrow in doubt, she added, "Actually. Biana can work wonders."
"I hope you're calling me a wonder and not me being pretty a wonder," Faye responded sassily, a light blush adorning her cheeks.
"You know you're pretty anyway. No need to flex it over all of us."
