*Prompt- I was assigned to save the world but I have to be partners with tHIS ASSHOLE*

Patrick Vaughn Stump, the CIA has assigned you to an extensive mission. Your objective is to travel the world in secrecy and find the 'G.O.D.' hideout based on tips and classified information. If this mission is not successful, the gained power of the 'G.O.D.' is unknown, but will be extreme. Do not let Earth fall to the hands of the 'G.O.D.'.

Patrick stared down at the letter in his hands in disbelief. G.O.D.? What the hell is that? And what are they planning to do that the CIA had to get involved?

Grabbing the rest of the bills and useless advertisements out of the white mailbox, Patrick walked the short, stone pathway up to his house while re-reading the short message.

It was actually quite unusual the way the letter was written. There was no other information besides the very small description of his mission. Normally when Patrick would get his orders, they would be given at the base or by a fellow team member. The rare times they came by mail or email, they at least had contact information or further directions.

Is it just a scam? Patrick thought to himself. It could just be some prank from the neighborhood kids. But how do they know I'm in the CIA? My identity in the forces is a secret. No one but those in the equal and higher ranks know about me.

Patrick tossed the rest of the mail down on the kitchen counter when he had gotten back inside. He shuffled the letter around in his hands and He was on a break after completing a lengthy case, so there was a decision to make. Wait until he was contacted more directly, or go and question the strange note. Patrick thought for a few moments before grabbing his keys off of the counter and walking out to his car.

The base seemed quiet and collected on the outside, just as it had always been. Yet on the inside, everyone was hard at work. Patrick had missed the chaos of the office.

"Stump!" A man in a suit called from across the open room. "What brings you here? I thought you were taking off for a bit."

"Well I was," Patrick answered. His co-worker was coming in his direction and the two began to walk together through the lobby. "But I got a letter asking me to come in. I guess they just can't keep me away."

"Oh really? What did the letter say?"

Patrick contemplated telling his coworker the little he knew about his upcoming mission, but decided against it. The printed words "Top Secret" and "Confidential" told him not to blab about it, especially on his first day back on the job.

"I'm not sure actually. It didn't really specify about the mission, just told me to come in as soon as possible."

"Oh. Well, uh, I hope everything works out for you. Glad to see you're back!" The other man turned to his left and walked into his section. Patrick continued moving forward after waving goodbye and pushed the stairwell door open to get to his boss' office.

After the journey down the long corridor, Patrick finally reached a large room with a tall, wooden door. He reached up his hand slowly and knocked quietly, hoping not to disturb anything.

"Come in," the voice from inside the office spoke. Patrick was greeted by a warm smile from behind the mahogany desk when he entered.

"Wonderful to see you again Mr. Stump," his boss said. It was a little out of the ordinary, how polite and cheerful she was being. "Please, close the door and take a seat."

Patrick did as he was instructed and sat quietly. After the few moments of silence, he took the letter out of his pocket and spoke up.

"Well I had gotten this in the mail and-"
