The brothers Decision

Back on the surface, both Princes were distracted with the  voices of those who saved them. Wondering who they were.

Prince Eric walked into the big hall where his mother and brother sat for breakfast. A bandage wrapped around Erics head.

Philip listened as his mother spoke about Eric and this mystery girl. As he thought about the girl he saw on the beach. "She is real, I know she is, for me and for Eric" Philip said standing abruptly. The queen turned her gaze to her eldest son and said "please don't tell me you are fixated on some mystery girl as well?" Philip sighed heavily. "It's hard to explain mother" as he sunk back into his chair thinking  to the moment he met her eyes on the boat.

Philip turned to his brother and asked "How are you feeling?" Gesturing to his head. Walking up next to Eric's side. "I'm fine" he said waving off Philip. The Queen spoke before either brothers could, "have some breakfast, please?" Eric simply looked to Grimsby and asked "any sign of that girl yet? Grimsby?"

"Uh we looked Sire, there was no girl, you were lucky to have made it to shore before you passed out." "She was real she saved my life, as well  Philip was saved." Eric said determined.

"Sit down Eric" the Queen pleaded. "I'm not hungry mother" "I'm worried about you. You've not been yourself since the shipwreck"
Eric ignored the Queen asking, "have you checked the neighbouring islands yet?" "Not all of them but..." Grimsby begun before Eric interrupted. "Then I will" Philip stood up besides his brother a hand on his shoulder. "Then We will" "your not leaving this castle until you are feeling better."

Eric went to question her when she got up and walked to Eric hands on his shoulders. "May I remind you both, that a deadly shipwreck brought you  to me." "And I almost lost you  to the last one, we cannot keep tempting fate, it is to stop!" "So no more voyages" both men looked to their mother  to question against it but her tone said it was final. Eric sighed heavily and left the room.

The Queen turned to her eldest, "please look after him, a look of sadness written across her face. "I will mother" he said before following after his brother.

Philip found his brother sitting by the rocks, he sat next to him hand on his back offering the comfort they both needed.
