The deal

It was quiet except from Ariel's sniffling. Then a voice sounded from next to them.

Serena lifted her head and saw a bubble with a face within it. "Poor child, poor sweet child, he can be so angry, he thinks he knows everything." We both stared at the women confused. "Who are you?" Ariel questioned. The women turned to Ariel with a look I couldn't place. "Oh. You mustn't remember me, I'm your Auntie Úrsula." "The sea witch?" Serena questioned cautiously. "The What?" Ursula scoffed. "What has your father told you about me?" "That you like to stir up trouble between humans and merpeople." Ariel stated not trusting the witches word. "Oh is that what he said?" The witch sounded annoyed. "I'm not half the monster he claims I am, and I'm only here to help." "I don't need your help" Ariel said turning away. "Whatever you say darling" as the witches face slowly disappeared. Serena shouted "Wait!" "Yes?" Came the reply of the witch as she appeared again "how can you help us?" Serena questioned wanting to know how she could help her and her sister! The witch stated "come to my home, their you can seek my help"

After the witched had disappeared, Serena spoke to her sister, "what do we do Ariel?" "She might be able to help us" Ariel turned to Serena deep in thought, after a moment's hesitation she replied "are you with me?" "Always" Serena replied.

Both girls took off to the witches home, once they were close two electric eels showed up and swam with them into the large structure of the witches home. Once they entered, Serena kept Ariel in front as they swam, small human like fish grabbed ahold of Serenas arms as she gasped, Ariel turned back and grabbed Serena pulling her free. The two mermaids held hands and swam forward and uneasy feeling entering their stomachs.

They got to the entrance of a big open cave with lots of different potions and items on the shelves around them. "Come in, come in" Ursula suddenly appears from the shadows. "We mustn't lurk in the passageways it's rude."
The sisters swam forward much closer to the witch now. "Forgive my aggressive garden, I wouldn't choose to live like this believe me." The sisters gave each other a small look of memorisation. "Daddy's been so unfair to the both of us, controlling everything we say and do, in a way we're the same you and I" the sisters looked to each other both wondering the same thing.

"Your not at all how father described you" Ariel stated. "Is that right?" "We never did get a long" You could see the Úrsulas mind drift a far and come back again. "Squidling rivalry" "he always got what he wanted, and what did I get? Nothin, Zip, Nada, Squat." "Sound firmiliar hun?" Úrsula laughed. Both sisters looked down and up again. "Oh I know what your going through, believe me." "I know why your here"

"I'm not sure we do" said Serena. "Oh please" Ursula scoffed. "I've been watching you both for a long time now dearie."

"What you really want is to be up there in the above world" Ursula gestures to above the surface making Serena look up. "It's always had your curiosity, and now it's got your hearts."

"What do you mean?" Ariel questioned confused. Ursula just laughed at that. "Your so young, don't you see?" "Your meant for each other" Serenas eyes filled up with slight hope, the nagging feeling in her stomach didn't go away but she pushed it down. "As it happens, I can help you."
"How?" Ariel questioned intrigued. "Mmm the problem is simple, you can't live in that world unless you become a human yourself." Serena gasped. "Become human?" She questioned looking to Ariel. "Is that even possible?" Serena frowned when Ursula laughed. "Oh my dear, it's what I do" "it's what I live for."
