(Shino's pov)

I lifted myself out of the bed I was in. Me and a few others were staying that had banished base since it had gotten late

We really need to get better at getting back on time, don't need people knowing what's going on

I left the room and made my way out of the house to get some fresh air, once I got outside I saw Artemis laying in the grass

I walked over "what are you doing?"

He sighed and turned his head to face me "looking at stars... Its calming"

"I see" I look up at the sky

He sits himself up "guessing you woke up or something

I looked at him "yeah... Needed some air"

"Understandable, with everything going on" he says

"Have any plans?" I asked

"What do you mean?" He asked me

"Well seems like you have become more or less the leader" I say

"Right... Not really, we don't have much to go off of, I mean having a location or something would be nice" says Artemis

"I guess" I sigh

He puts his knees to his chest and puts his arms around his legs "I...I never wanted to be leader"

"I mean, you were the closest thing from what I heard around" I tell him

He rolled his eyes "there is Kol and Blake... Maybe even Sapphire"

"Sapphire I can kinda see, Kol and Blake yeah but they can be assholes about it" I say

Artemis gave a small laugh "yeah...but they are trying"

"We all are trying, I just want this over with" I say

"Trust me, I do too... Just having Ronin back would be nice" Said Artemis

"Yeah... Having the king would be nice, I can tell Moodswing is getting tired and stressed" I admitted

"I mean ruling and dealing with a missing king with people questioning it, I would hate it.... I do hate it" Artemis says kinda realizing he's kinda in the same spot as Moodswing

"You hate it?" I asked

"Dealing with taking on ruling in a way, trying to find our leader.... People always come to me and asking about how it is going" He says

"It's something to deal with.... It's messing with a lot of us, knowing there isn't much we can do" I say

"I-I guess" Artemis got onto his feet "I think I'm going to head back inside"

"I noticed you weren't in the older kids home or whatever" I say

"I don't even know if we should call it that since a few of the younger kids should be in there but just got used to their home" Artemis laughed

"Still" I say

"Helping a few people with their nerves" Artemis says walking off

I take a deep breath before walking back inside

"Couldn't have messed that more up" said Yuki when I walked it

That made me jump "w-what?"

"Him opening up to you and you kinda failing at what to tell him" she says

"I don't think that's your business, besides why are you up?" I asked her

"Going over to the other place to check up on my brother" she said walking outside "next time do a better job"

She had shut the door and I just rolled my eyes and walked to the room I was staying at.... Though I could have done a better job, I just didn't know what to say and was tired, its like midnight
