(Shino's pov)
I took a deep breath as I stepped into the cleared out circle aka the banished base
I looked around and saw to my left, Artemis and it seemed like he was looking over a wooden table and wooden benches
I guess they just made them, I took another deep breath as I walked over to him
"Arty" I say
He gets up and turns around to face me, he takes a deep breath "Shino"
"I uh- hey" I say
"Hello, not many updates other then the caves they aren't near and or in" He says
"That's not what I'm here for" I say to him
He blinks and now looks confused
"We should talk about what happened 2 nights ago" I say "I waited a bit to think and to give you space"
He sighs "what is there to say?"
"That I'm sorry for running off like that, for leaving, for the thoughts in my head since you most likely put together why I ran" I spill out everything I'm sorry for to him
His face turned to shock "I.... I mean I get it? I don't know... I don really face backlash for speaking to you guys...well kinda if it was you guys catching us stealing"
"I know but I shouldn't have let that get in the way, they don't know you... But I do and I know you all are amazing people... I just let those thoughts get in my head" I say "I'm sure once we find Ronin and Database things will change"
Artemis laughs "that's sweet, thank you for your apology you did hurt me running like that... Made me think nothing with would change that you would never care... But when the king does get found I don't think things will change"
"The king will see that we were wrong" I say
Arty smiles at me "that was never the problem, our quirks were"
"Once we save them, he will see they are good" I say
"Maybe but then there are the towns people, there is a lot" he says "maybe the King will like us and let us be in piece, give us stuff like we trade or something"
I sigh "I heard a lot of people here talk about wanting things to change"
"Yes we want to be treated better, but being let into the kingdom seems like a far stretch, I mean look h-how yo were... K-issing me" Artemis says, blushing when the kiss was brought up
I laughed "lets move back to the kiss"
He nodded his head "y-yeah that kiss"
I smiled "I like you arty, a lot and I'm sorry I let other peoples thoughts get in the way but I would love it if we could be a thing, I understand if what I did makes you change your mind or if you never felt anything at all"
Artemis blushed and was smiling, he laughed before kissing my cheek "I would love it be with you Shino"
I blushed and smiled "that's great"
"Mhm" he keeps smiling
I look at the bench "want to just sit and talk?"
"Sure, Yuki is checking up on everyone so I have time"
"That's nice" I say and sit down, he sits across from me and the two of us start talking more
