At the raider boat, Wes, Tobin and Griffin prepare an attack on the community.
Griffin: We've been waiting for two weeks now, Wes. I think now is the perfect time strike.
Tobin: I'm with Griffin on this boss.
Wes: And we are tonight. We're going to attack.
Tobin: Why the wait?
Wes: I needed them to make them think they're safe when they're not.....to slowly relax and let their guard down....then we attack.
Tobin: I like it.
Griffin: It's a right plan.
Tobin: Wait, Wes....what about Kyle?
Wes: What about Kyle?
Griffin: He won't cooperate.
Wes: Once the Berrington civilians do and the rest of his survivors do, we take a hostage. Give him a choice.....then if he doesn't, we kill him.
The raiders then prepare an attack on the Berrington community as Melanie approaches Wes.
Melanie: Sir, if I may....I'd like to go with you.
Wes: No...
Melanie: But, sir, this might be easier to get the people of Berrington....my sister to come along peacefully and quietly....
Wes: Melanie...I know you want to come and see your sister, but I need you to stay here with Ross, Leanne and Albert to guard the boat.
Melanie sighs and looks down.
Melanie: Okay....
Melanie walks away. Wes turns to notice Hunter fidgeting with his walkman, before walking over to him and taking his broken walkman.
Hunter: Dad!
Wes: Don't! I'm bringing you on this mission to grab these folks, not to fucking listen to music while everyone does the hard work.
Wes jams the walkman into Hunter's chest.
Wes: Put this broken piece of shit in your fucking backpack. Don't take it out.
Wes then grabs a rifle and hands it to Hunter.
Wes: Here. Make yourself useful.
Hunter sighs, then takes the rifle.
Wes: Get to the truck. Freddy's waiting.
Hunter walks to the truck, before Wes speaks.
Wes: And Hunter.....
Hunter stops and turns to Wes.
Wes: Don't disappoint me, boy....when we get there, I want you to kill that girl.
Hunter fully turns to Wes.
Hunter: Wha-Her? Why?
Wes: Cause she's a distraction and these are your people. You are my son and I need you focused.
Hunter: Dad...I....
Wes: Tell me you'll do it, Hunter. Tell me...
Hunter looks down, then shuts his eyes.
Hunter: I'll do it.
Wes: Good....Now, go to the truck.
In Berrington, Kyle and Sarah walk out to the courtyard to see everyone prepping for the upcoming battle.
Kyle: Let's see what's on today's agenda.
Sarah: Of course. I'll go on lookout with Alicia.
Sarah sees Alicia on top of the gate as she waves. Sarah then walks to her. Kyle then hears Peter and Samantha arguing, so he goes over to them.
