In Berrington, Bryan and Connor stand guard. Suddenly, a truck with a cart arrives.
Connor: Bryan! Got movement! A truck with a cart!
Bryan: Think it's a raider?!
Bryan and Connor aim their weapons at the truck as it drives up. Anna exits drives up and raises her hands.
Anna: Connor! Bryan! Don't shoot! It's me! Anna!
Bryan: Anna!
Kyle exits the truck.
Kyle: It's us!
Connor and Bryan open the gate, allowing the truck to come in. All of the passengers exit. Bryan, Connor, Brie, Morgan and Zeke rush up to the group.
Zeke: You guys did it.
Brie smiles upon seeing Chloe, Sylvester and Samantha.
Brie: Holy shit....they did it.
Zeke: Wait, where's James? Shawn?
Brie: Rocky and Margaret?
Morgan: Hunter?
Kyle looks at Sarah, Cassandra and Caleb, then back at the others.
Kyle: They're okay. They just got separated from us. They're coming back.
Zeke: And the raiders?
Kyle: They're dead. All of them....including Wes and Tobin.
The Berrington residents smile and give a sigh of relief.
Peter: We did it.....We fucking did it.
John chuckles for a moment.
John: It's over. We won. The raiders are gone and we got everyone out alive.
John turns to Kyle.
John: Thanks to him and his people. We won.
Kyle nods to John.
Kyle: We did.....and Shawn, James, Margaret, Rocky and Hunter are going to come through those gates.
Morgan: Wait, we're keeping Hunter with us? He's one of the raiders, though.
Sarah: He's one of us now.....
Kyle: The best thing to do right now is to recuperate. Restock. Rebuild. Just cause we've dealt with the raiders doesn't mean there's still not threats out there. Wes may have been a bad man, but he was right about one thing; there are killers, thieves and people out there who will want what we have. Take what we have....and you all proved you can do anything.
The Berrington residents nod in agreement.
Brie: Thank you, Kyle. You saved Berrington.
Out in the woods, the next morning, the quarry, a figure is approaching the trucks blocking the herd. She then gets in and hotwires the truck before putting it in drive, causing the truck to fall and the quarry to break, allowing the infected herd to come through. In the woods, Shawn is running through the woods, tired as he leans against a tree and takes a moment to catch his breath.
Shawn: Fuck....
Elsewhere, in parking lot, Rocky and Margaret are taking cover behind a car. Margaret speaks into her radio.
Margaret: Shawn? James, do you copy? James? Shawn?
Rocky: Twenty bucks says that the Burton brothers are on their way back to Berrington now, along with the boy.
Margaret: Hunter's with James, though. Shawn's a tracker and he's alone. Best thing to do right now is to look for him.
Rocky and Margaret then go searching for Shawn, unable to find anyone, so they take shelter in a small home. Meanwhile, James and Hunter are enroute to Berrington.
