On the road, Shawn, Margaret and Rocky are en-route.
Rocky: Think Berrington is still in one peace?
Shawn: What makes you think it's not?
In the streets of Berrington, infected continue to loom and walk around while Kyle, Rachel, Savannah, Brie, Zeke, Morgan, Chris and Sarah walk through trying hard as possible to remain undetected. The group then takes a break and quietly begin to talk.
Kyle: All right, new plan. Flares and guns won't be enough. Too many infected and they're spread out, so the armory's not an option. We need cars....enough to draw them back, round em up.
Brie: Okay...but Savannah...to the quarry and back...
Kyle pinches his nose.
Chris: I'll take Savannah. Get her to the nursery.
Sarah turns to Chris.
Sarah: You sure?
Chris: Yes...
Savannah looks up at Chris.
Savannah: Will you take me to my sister?
Chris: I will, sweetie.
Brie: Take Morgan and Zeke, too.
Morgan: What?
Zeke: No, Mom. We want to go with you.
Brie: Guys—
Zeke: We can keep going. I can....we want to stay with you....please...let's just go.
Brie looks around at the group.
Brie: Okay.
Kyle: Chris...thank you.
Chris nods, before turning to Savannah.
Chris: Come on, sweetie.
Kyle turns back to Brie.
Brie: Your friends are brave...and he'll make it. They both will make it.
Kyle nods, before offering his hand to Zeke.
Kyle: Zeke....
Zeke: You still got that flamer?
Kyle: Yeah....
Zeke: Good..
Kyle, Zeke and Brie walk, before Rachel touches Morgan's arm. Morgan then shakes her head and takes Morgan's hand, before walking with Sarah behind her. Meanwhile, James and Hunter manage to get back into Berrington and make it to the church.
James: Maybe when they searched this place, they place, they missed something. Depend if it was John who went through it. Hey, look in bibles...they might have something.
Hunter: You're shitting me, right?
James: No, I'm not.
Hunter looks through the bibles. James looks through the rest of the church.
James: We have three fucking bullets. People holed up in the town. They hide anything; knives, weapons, ammo. Something to start a fire. We need sheets, towels...ropes...anything you can use to climb to the side....Hunter.
James stands up and turns to Hunter, who looks up at a bible verse on the wall
Hunter: When I wanted to run, you said that's how I dishonor the dead. What the fuck does that mean? That I dishonor the dead?
James: The people who are gone....the good ones....that's who you'd be dishonoring...the people who keep you going. If you stop doing good, that last bit of them is gone....forever...
