The clock tower begins to tilt.
Kyle: Get back!
The survivors and Berrington residents move out of the way as the clock tower falls, destroying a part of Berrington's walls. The survivors and Berringon survivors recover as the dust settles and infected begin to breach the premises of Berrington.
Kyle: Everyone! Get back! Get into your houses!
Kyle shoots at a few infected, before Sarah pulls out her machete and slices a few of the infected. Alicia pulls out her pistol and shoots a few of the infected down. Meanwhile, Caleb, John, Peter, Samantha and Kayla manage to retreat to the nursery. Kyle, Sarah and Alicia continue shooting at infected, before Alicia manages to save Kyle from getting attacked from behind.
Alicia: You okay?!
Kyle nods.
Kyle: Alicia!
Suddenly, an infected attacks and bites Alicia on the arm. Alicia screams in pain, before Sarah shoots the infected in the head.
Alicia: Oh, god!
Sarah: Alicia! You okay?!
Alicia: My arm! My arm!
Kyle: Sarah! Hold her arm out!
Sarah: What?!
Kyle: Just do it!
Sarah holds Alicia's arm out as Kyle equips his Zeus Corps machete, activating the fire feature.
Alicia: Wait! Wait!
Kyle: It'll hurt just only a few minutes, okay?!
Kyle quickly severs Alicia's infected arm off as she screams. Meanwhile, Cassandra is struggling to retreat, but successfully manages to climb up a tower. However, the ladder breaks, but Cassandra clings onto the edge and climbs onto the surface of the tower, successfully. She then looks at the yellow balloons floating. In the streets of Berrington, Kyle carries the wounded Alicia with Sarah covering for them.
Chris: Kyle!
Rachel, Chris, Savannah and Morgan sprint and join Kyle, Sarah and Alicia.
Morgan: Is she okay?!
Sarah: She got bit!
Morgan: What?!
Kyle: We cut off her arm! We need to get her somewhere safe!
Alicia: Just leave me....please...
Kyle: No fucking way.
Sarah: We're not leaving you, Alicia.
Suddenly, more infected block their path, but then Brie and Zeke shoot the infected down.
Brie: Come on! Get in my house! Go!
Kyle, Sarah, Alicia, Chris, Savannah, Rachel, Morgan, Brie and Zeke retreat into the house. Outside of Berrington, James and Hunter look at the chaos.
James: Fuck....
Hunter: What now? They got in....
James: We gotta get in there. We gotta help...
Hunter looks down and shakes his head.
Hunter: James...we can't save Berrington. It's as good as dead.
James: Hey, no. I don't buy that! Okay? We can still save the community. All of us!
Hunter: This is how it happens, James. This is what always happens.
James: My wife is still in there. My best friend, Kyle. Families. Friends. People who care about you.... Rachel....she's in there. You're just gonna run away? Forget about this. Then fine....but you're dishonoring yourself and all the people who have died.
