It's been two months since Wheeljack made a surprise visit and Bumblebee and Nightshard getting a shock because they found out that Dreadwing is their uncle. "Why is it always Bee that gets caught in photographs?" Nightshard asked as she saw Raf removing a photo of Bee with a different picture. : I always try to not get caught but I always do: Bee said knowing that there was no way that he was going to get his sister to drop it. It didn't take long for Raf to find another picture but it was a picture of an escape pod though it was too blurry to tell which side the pod was from. "Wait how is Ratchet going I get groundbridge duty," Bulkhead said though he was still recovering from his tox-en injury. "I am not saying this to make you feel bad but the reason why Ratchet is going is in case whoever is in the pod is injured," Nightshard said. "Why can't be the one to check them out and Ratchet can stay here," Bulkhead said pointing out my training as a medic. "Do you realize that my medical experience is not at the level that Ratchet has plus my experience is more or less patching bots up for transport," Nightshard said looking over at her fellow wrecker.

Bulkhead knew that she was right and opened the groundbridge for the rest of the team to the pod crash site. When they got there and walked up to the pod, both Bee and Shard felt someone they hadn't felt in years. 'It can't be him right it's been years,' Shard said over the bond with Bee. 'There is no way for the cons to replicate a sibling bond so it has to be him,' Bee said back. "It's a deception escape pod," Arcee said and she didn't see the look that Bee and Shard gave each other. Inciticons started to attack the Autobots and they started to shoot back. "How can that many cons fit in that escape pod?" Arcee asked. "Humans call the phenomena a clown car," Ratchet said as he backed up. The entire team was using rocks and trees as cover to not get blasted by the cons when Shard and Bee felt a tug before turning around behind them. The trio saw someone sending blaster fire from behind them before spotting the bot in question and hearing the yell "Down and left,". Bumblebee and NIghtshard knew that was their older brother but were not sure if he spotted them crouching behind a massive rock. The new bot started shooting at the cons but didn't see that one of his shots had hit the energon leaking from the escape pod. 

When the pod exploded taking out most of the cons in the process. "I thought I wouldn't be cought in explosions but here we are though it did take out the cons in one go," Shard said as she looked over the rock. The new bot said that was a good plan with Arcee telling him that it was a stupid plan and putting him in place. "Thank you ..." Optimus said before trailing off because he didn't know his name. "Smokescreen sir," Smokescreen said before saluting Optimus. Ratchet, Bumblebee, Nightshard, and Optimus himself (though he didn't show it) went back knowing that it's been years since they had seen or heard from Smokescreen but here he was standing before them. Optimus spotted the Elite Guard insignia on his shoulders and knew that his oldest nephew, honorary or not, had joined the organization sometime during the war. Nightshard also spotted the insignia and stayed silent knowing that not having seen her oldest brother in years now seeing him again as an Elite Guardsman which was ironic since one of her best friends, Ultra Magnus, was an Elite Guardsman becoming the commander of the organization. "I see that you received training from the Elite Guard," Optimus said pointing out that fact. "True enough but by the time I joined up it was more like a boot camp and I didn't get a proper graduation," Smokescreen said. 

"There was a war going on," Arcee said which made him look at the rest of us. "Hey all I've wanted was to be a soldier and serve the Autobot cause but what I got was security detail at Iacon," Smokescreen said harshly back at Arcee. When Nightshard heard that she was taken aback because the Hall of Records was one of the most secure places in the whole city and it was rare to get someone who was on security detail alive during the war. "The Hall of Records of all places Optimus don't you find this highly suspicious," Ratchet said pointing out the same thing Nightshard thought of. 'Sis didn't you serve under Alpha Trion before the war as an archivist for about two years before the war started after the Rescue Force was disbanded by the council and massacred,' Bee asked. 'I did and it was an honor to be placed on security detail more so if you were assigned to Alpha Trion,' Nightshard said back. "Smokescreen what was your assignment inside the hall?" Optimus asked. "Guarding Alpha Trion what turned out to be the last days of the war," Smokescreen said. "You served under the master archivist?" Optimus asked. Bee looked over to his sister and with Nightshard gave him a look that told him 'He served under Alpha Trion but how much does he know'.
