Smokescreen and Nightshard

It has been a few days since Smokescreen joined the team and it has been a learning curve for everyone on the team. However, the next mission that the team had was to stop the cons from getting a satellite that Silas created before he created M.E.C.H. and it resulted in Raf and his family having to move. Smokescreen tried to help Bulkhead with his injury by using the Apex Armor though Bulkhead was against it. Thought Bulkhead did get into the action of the fight by protecting Raf, Jack, Miko, and Fowler at Raf's old home when Silas who was using Breakdown's body was about to attack them. Smokescreen was sent to as Bulkhead's backup which proved to him that he knows his stuff. Nightshard was taken aback because Smokescreen had told her that he studied all of the battles that the Wreckers were in to understand how they fought during the war. "I've been meaning to ask you something," Smokescreen said to his sister as she was working on something for Optimus. "What do you want to ask me?" Nightshard asked without looking over at him. "How do you get the respect of the others as Uncle Orion's second-in-command?" Smokescreen asked.

"I showed everyone that I was willing to get into a fight and led by example which over time had gotten me the respect from everyone," Nightshard said. Smokescreen was surprised that Nightshard had gotten the respect of the Autobots by leading by example which was a page right out of Optimus' playbook. "It shows when the team trusts you enough to lead us when Uncle Orion isn't here so I'm proud of you," Smokescreen said to his sister which shocked her. Nightshard looked at Smokescreen in surprise because she wasn't expecting him to say something like that. "You're proud of me?" Nightshard asked her brother. "Yeah am proud of you because you showed everyone that you could lead and that you didn't let anyone tell you who to be," Smokescreen said with a smile. "I mean very few bots can say that or back up their words in the way you do. Pits, you showed everyone that you have the know-how to come up with the best strategy that others haven't thought of," Smokescreen said.

Nightshard looked at Smokescreen knowing that he was right she had proven herself before and during the war. It was something that she often overlooked due to the fact she had to be reminded by both Optimus and Ratchet though it was something that often happens. "Then I should say the same thing about you," Nightshard said to her older brother. That took Smokescreen by surprise because he doesn't have many battles under his belt compared to his siblings and his uncles which was something that everyone knew. "Let me explain Smokes. You found your place in the Elite Guard and had gotten the trust of Alpha Trion which very few have gotten," Nightshard said pointing out the fact that Smokescreen had been intrusted with a piece of information that Alpha Trion had which was that he petitioned the council to make their uncle a prime. "I'm just a rookie who doesn't have any battle experience and the entire team knows it too. Both you and Bee have more experience when it comes to this war with you have been fighting in this since day one," Smokescreen said which was true.

Nightshard looked at her brother with a soft look in her optics before hugging her brother. Smokescreen always knew that Nightshard knew what to say and do to make him feel better which makes sense because they were split spark siblings more since Nightshard's spark had split off from Smokescreen's. "You don't have to prove yourself to anyone on the team because you have us to help you though if you keep up with saying that you are destined for something greater Arcee and I will keep calling you 'destiny's child' trust me that's a nickname you don't want to have," Nightshard said. Smokescreen smiled and laughed which was something he needed though he did tell Shard that he would continue what he was doing though he would try to keep it down. "What are we going to deal with Uncle Dreadwing cause we have to fight and most likely kill him at some point during this," Smokescreen said. Nightshard knew that Smokescreen had a valid point about their Uncle Dreadwing because he was the only living family member they had on their carrier's side of the family.

"I don't know and I know that Bee had killed Uncle Skyquake though at the time we didn't know that he was family at the time," Shard said. Smokescreen had been told about the fight that Optimus and Bee had with their Uncle Skyquake which was something that rocked Bee with guilt when they found out that he was their uncle so Smokescreen and Nightshard had to tell him that he didn't know that he was family. "Well we have to take with stride and hope that Dreadwing will hesitate when he sees one of us," Shard said but realized that Dreadwing has only seen Bumblebee and Nightshard but has yet to see Smokescreen. "Are you going take it easy on me from now on?" Smokescreen asked his sister who returned to her work. "Pits no I'm still your commanding officer despite being your younger sibling though I'm more than willing to give you a benefit of the doubt till you give me a reason not to," Nightshard said which Smokescreen understood. Smokescreen knew that he had no reason to doubt his sister even Bee knew this as well because the trio has their bond. "Don't try to overwork yourself ok because it's one thing if it's Uncle Ratchet," Smokescreen said which got a smile out of his sister. "I can hear you Smokescreen," Ratchet said.
