Jax moved closer to Kira on the bed and took hold of her hands. Feeling Jax's hand in hers, Kira's heart raced with excitement and apprehension. She knew that this was wrong, that a Jedi Master should not indulge in such emotions, but she couldn't help the way she felt. Jax's hand felt warm and strong in hers, and Kira couldn't help but feel a sense of comfort and safety in his touch. For a moment, she allowed herself to forget about the responsibilities and duties of being a Jedi and just enjoyed the moment with Jax.

Sitting together with their hands intertwined, Kira felt a deep connection with Jax that went beyond their respective roles as commander and Jedi Master. She was aware that this was a dangerous path that could lead to her expulsion from the Jedi Order...

"Jax, I-" Kira looked into his eyes.

Jax looked back into Kira's eyes, his expression serious but gentle. He could sense that Kira had something important to say, and he waited patiently for her to speak.

"Jax, I just wanted to say... thank you," Kira began, her voice soft and earnest. "For everything you've done for me and for the Legion. I know I can always count on you, and I appreciate all the sacrifices you've made."

Jax smiled at Kira's words, his hand still clasped in hers. "It's my duty, ma'am. I'll always do whatever it takes to keep you and the men safe."

Kira nodded, a small smile playing at the corners of her mouth. "I know, Jax. And I'm grateful for that. But...there's something else I need to say."

Jax's expression grew more serious, sensing the weight of Kira's words. "What is it, General?"

Taking a deep breath, Kira looked directly into Jax's eyes. "I just wanted to tell you...that I value our friendship more than anything. You mean a lot to me, Jax and I hope that we can continue to fight side-by-side for a long time to come."

Jax's smile grew wider, and he squeezed Kira's hand gently. "Of course, Kira. You can always count on me."

For a moment, they sat together in silence, their hands still clasped. And although they both knew that their paths would diverge in the end, they were content to enjoy the moment and the bond they shared.

After what felt like hours, the two continued talking to each other, their chat was abruptly interrupted by the base alarms.

"Commander, droid reinforcements are headed this way!" An officer spat into Jax's comlink.

"We're on our way!" Jax replied as he stood up and turned to Kira, "We have to go. It sounds like there's trouble."

Kira nodded, her mind shifting back to the present danger. As they rushed out of her quarters, Kira could feel the adrenaline pumping through her veins. She knew that they had to act quickly if they were going to protect the legion and emerge victorious. As they ran through the corridors of the base, they could hear the sounds of blaster fire and the unmistakable clanking of battle droids. Kira felt her senses heighten as she prepared herself for the fight ahead.

Finally, they burst through the doors into the command center, where they were met with the chaos of battle. Jax quickly took charge, barking out orders to the clone troopers as they fought to hold off the enemy onslaught. Kira ignited her lightsaber and leaped into the fray, deflecting blaster bolts and cutting down droids with ease. Jax fought beside her, his blasters firing rapidly as he mowed down the enemy forces.

For what felt like hours, they fought side by side, their movements perfectly synchronized as they battled the enemy forces. Finally, with the last droid vanquished, they stood together, breathing heavily, their hearts pounding in their chests. As they looked at each other, they both knew that this was only the beginning. There would be more battles to come, more challenges to face. But as long as they had each other, they knew that they could overcome anything.

As Kira watched Jax take charge of the situation, her mind began to wander. She found herself lost in thought, daydreaming about him and the moments they had shared.

She remembered the way he had shielded her with his armor, the way he had taken a laser to the leg to protect her. She couldn't help but feel a sense of awe and admiration for his bravery and selflessness. But as she watched him now, she also couldn't help but feel a growing attraction. She admired his strong leadership skills, his intelligence and tactical prowess, and his unwavering dedication to his duty.

She knew that as a Jedi, she was not supposed to have romantic feelings for anyone. But despite her best efforts to suppress them, she found herself drawn to Jax in ways she couldn't explain. As Jax finished giving his orders and turned to face her, Kira quickly snapped out of her daydream and refocused on the present situation. But deep down, she knew that her feelings for him were only going to grow stronger with time.

Unfortunately, her daze hadn't gone unnoticed,  "Havin' fun there, General?" Jax teased.

Kira smiled back at Jax, feeling her cheeks flush slightly. "Oh, you know me," she replied with a playful wink. "I live for the excitement of battle."

Jax chuckled, his eyes sparkling with amusement. "Well, you certainly know how to make things interesting," he said. "I don't think I've ever fought alongside a Jedi quite like you before."

Kira grinned, feeling a sense of pride at his compliment. "I'll take that as a compliment," she said. "But I have to say, your leadership skills are pretty impressive too. I feel safe with you leading the charge."

Jax's smile widened, and he reached out to place a hand on her shoulder. "Glad to hear it," he said. "I'll always do my best to keep you and the rest of the legion safe."

Kira felt a surge of warmth in her chest at his words. She knew that Jax was a true leader, one who cared deeply about the safety and well-being of his troops. And she couldn't help but feel grateful to have him by her side in the heat of battle. As they stood there, their eyes locked in a moment of shared understanding, Kira knew that no matter what the future held, she would always be proud to fight alongside Jax and the 45th Elite Legion.

Jax snapped back into Commander as more droids arrived, "Blaze, take cover!" he shouted.

The ARC Trooper quickly obeyed Jax's command and took cover behind a barrier, firing his blaster at the advancing droids.

Jax quickly assessed the situation and began barking orders to his troops, directing them to take up defensive positions and providing cover fire as needed. Kira followed his lead, wielding her lightsaber with precision and skill as she deflected incoming laser blasts and engaged the enemy droids in close combat.

Despite the chaos and danger of the situation, Jax and Kira worked together seamlessly, their movements and actions in perfect sync as they fought side by side. Kira couldn't help but feel a sense of pride and admiration for Jax, seeing firsthand the courage and leadership he displayed in the face of danger.

As the battle raged on, Jax and Kira continued to fight with all their strength and determination, refusing to back down or give up. And in that moment, Kira knew that no matter what challenges lay ahead, as long as she had Jax and the 45th Elite Legion by her side, she would always have a fighting chance.
