"As the war continues, we have installed new regulations for easier response times in the heat of battle; all battalion leaders will now share bunks, effective immediately." A holographic announcement from Chancellor Palpatine spoke.

Kira was surprised to hear about the new regulation, but she couldn't deny the sense of excitement that bubbled up inside her at the thought of being in close proximity to Jax. As she made her way to the designated bunking area, Kira couldn't help but wonder what it would be like to share a living space with Jax. Would they have deep conversations about their beliefs and experiences? Or would they spend their time teasing each other and laughing?

As Kira entered the room, she saw Jax already there, unpacking his gear. He looked up as she entered, and a smile lit up his face.

"Well, well, well, look who's my bunkmate," he said, his eyes sparkling with amusement.

Kira felt her cheeks flush at his teasing tone, but she couldn't help but smile in response. As they settled in, the two of them fell into a comfortable routine, spending their evenings discussing strategy, sharing stories, and sometimes just enjoying each other's company in companionable silence.

Troopers and officers were provided with different types of accommodations, with officers having more luxurious quarters that resembled small apartments. These accommodations included a kitchen, living room, and master bedroom. However, there was a minor issue with the officer bunks as they only had one bed.

Kira couldn't help but feel a little nervous as she looked at the bed. She knew that Jax was a clone, but he was also a man, and the idea of sharing a bed with him made her heart race. As they settled in for the night, Kira tried to keep her distance, but Jax seemed oblivious to her discomfort. He moved freely around the room, laughing and joking as he always did.

As the night went on, Kira began to feel more at ease in Jax's presence. She found herself attracted to his self-assurance and unwavering support, which had always provided her with a sense of comfort. Being close to him made her feel safe and secure.

"Hey, I know this situation is weird, but it's okay to relax around me." Jax smiled.

Kira's heart skipped a beat as she looked up at Jax's warm smile. She couldn't help but feel drawn to him, despite her reservations.

"I know," she replied softly. "It's just...different."

"I get it. But we've been through a lot together. We can trust each other."

Kira smiled at him gratefully. "Thank you, Jax. I appreciate that."

"Now, come on." Jax said as he turned on the HoloTV, "Relax for a bit, and I'll make us some dinner."

Kira nodded, grateful for the distraction. She settled onto the couch and watched as Jax bustled around the kitchen, humming to himself as he cooked.

As the smell of food filled the air, Kira's stomach rumbled. She realized she was starving, and the thought of sharing a meal with Jax made her feel strangely content.

When Jax brought the food over to the table, Kira couldn't help but smile. The meal was simple, but it tasted delicious. They ate in companionable silence, enjoying each other's company.

After dinner, Jax suggested they watch a movie. Kira agreed, and they settled onto the couch together. As they watched the movie, Kira couldn't help but feel her guard slipping. She was starting to feel comfortable around Jax, and she liked it.

While watching the movie, Kira found herself nestled in Jax's embrace, feeling secure and at ease. She couldn't recall the last time she had been so relaxed. The movie played on, but Kira was more absorbed in the comforting sensation of Jax's warmth and the steady rhythm of his breath.
