Ally's POV:

As soon as I saw Y/N I felt all the emotions rush back. I loved her. I still do.

"How have you been?" I asked her. I could feel the tension between us but I just wanted her to talk to me again.

"I've been busy." She laughed. "How about you?"

"Busy. Congrats on" I pointed to her jersey. "Yeah coming back to the states."

She nodded and looked at the jersey. "Thanks. Now I just need to move back."

We stood there in silence. Dinah and Lauren walked up to us. "Y/N!" Lauren jumped on her. "I MISSED YOU!"

"Hey Lauren." She laughed. "I missed you guys too." She looked at me.

"Even Ally?" Dinah smirked.

"I missed ALL of you guys." Y/N said again. "Even Ally."

"GIRLS YOU'RE ON IN 5!"

Normani walked up with Camila behind her. "LET'S GO!" Normani said.

"Hi Y/N. We can talk after!" They ran on stage.

I looked back at Y/N. "I'll see you after."

Your POV:

I watched the girls go on stage to perform for their fans. I had practice with the national team in a few hours. Even though I wanted to stay, I couldn't.

I got in the van and drove to practice. The team all greeted me.

"So we are now teammates for good." Ali said. "Welcome to Washington." She hugged me.

"Yeah don't screw it up for us." Ashlyn joked.

"You're the goalkeeper." I smirked and walked away.

After hours and hours of practicing, my day was over. I went to get my bags and saw a missed call from Ally.

"Hello?" She answered.

"Hey. It's Y/N. Sorry I left, I wanted to stay but we had practice." I said picking up my bag.

"It's totally fine. Maybe we can meet up? I think we should talk." She said.

"Yeah. That sounds good. Is 5 good?"

"5 is perfect." I smiled. "I'll see you then."

I hung up and turned around. "JESUS!" I jumped. Amy and Megan were standing right there. "What the hell."

"What's happening at 5?" Amy asked.

"Nothing." I said.

"WE GOT A LIAR!!!" Megan said. More of the team ran over.

"Come on. I'm meeting a friend at 5."

"Y/N HAS A DATE!" Kelley screamed.

"IT'S NOT A DATE! At the Today show I ran into Ally and the girls. Ally wants to meet up at 5 to talk so I'm gonna." I explained. "Now hop off my ass." I pushed Kelley.

We all left and I drove to the hotel to shower and get ready. I drove to the coffee shop Ally wanted to meet and waited.

She walked in and sat with me. "We need to talk about a lot of things." She sighed. "I still like you. A lot. I didn't want to tell you about Troy because I was confused. I liked you but still liked him. We broke up but you were always with Nate and ignored me. Troy actually gave me some good advice." She smiled. "He opened my eyes, that it sounded like I was in love with you." She laughed a little.

"That's weird." I said softly.

"Yeah I know. It took these 4 months away from you to realize he was right." She finished.
