Soccer Star (Ally/You)

Captain

Your POV:

We got to practice and went into the locker to get ready.

"There she is!" Coach yelled.

"Oh coach stop." Kelley said. The whole team laughed.

Coach shook his head. "Sit down O'Hara." She did. "Now. Y/N here has been on this team for about a week now, but has not been in a game. Our next game is against Chicago. We need these 3 points to get into 5th place." He looked at me. 

The team all agreed.

"L/N! O'Hara!" She looked at him. "I've seen how well you two work together for the national team. The only difference is here Kelley is a defender and Y/N is a forward. Kelley you've been a forward for us and you can score."

"No big deal." She shrugged.

"That's why I'm starting you 2 up top for our game. Kelley you are a great forward but you also have that very good defensive quality. And Y/N I've seen you take free kicks. You can help us."

We both nodded. "Alright let's go!"

Ally's POV:

"Where's their next game?" Lauren asked. We were at our house in LA. 

"Chicago." Dinah said. "In 1 day."

"We can get to Chicago." Normani said.

"We have a show here in 2 days Mani. That we have rehearsals for." Camila pointed out. "We can't make this work. I'm sorry Ally."

"No we can manage this!" Lauren said. "Guys come on." She grabbed her phone. "Hey Sean?"

"Lauren Michelle Jauregui what are you doing!" Normani said. 

"Sh." Lauren held up her hand. "Do you think we can do our last rehearsal today? It's only 2 songs and I think we can get it all perfect today." She waited. "Sweet! We'll see you in an hour." She winked and hung up. 

"Lauren you little"

"Yes I know." She cut Dinah off. "Now Dinah, get 5 tickets. Normani hook us up with a flight and the rest of us will pack a small bag for each of us." She clapped. "Let's move out team!"

Your POV:

We were on the field. Pre game warmups were underway. Kelley had the captains armband and we were both starting up top.

After the warm up we got ready for the game. The whole team sat in the locker room. "Coach." He looked at me. "Can I say something?" 

"Sure." He nodded. "Get this team ready to kick ass." I smiled.

"Okay! I know I'm new on this team, but you are the hardest working group of people I've been with. You deserve to be at the top of the table but there's tough teams in this league. I believe in you guys, and tonight I need y'all to believe in each other." Everyone started to get excited. "I had a lot of people doubt me at the start of my career but look at where I am. A gold medal and playing pro soccer!" 

"Hell yeah." 

"So tonight we go out there and we show Chicago what we can do! Sky Blue is done being looked over! We are gonna get the win today and get to the top of that table!" I finished up. 

"Let's bring it in." Coach said. We all huddled together. "Let's get those 3 points shall we?"

The whole team started screaming. We walked out onto the field and finally got ready to play.

"Hey." Kelley called me. She walked over. "Before the game starts I have to do something." She took off the captain armband and started to put it on me. "After your little pep talk in there I think you deserve to wear this more than me. Lead us to victory captain." 

I nodded and the ref blew the whistle. This is where I belong.
