She Needs Us

Your POV:

I laid on the bed with tears rolling down my cheeks. Jake sat up and put his shirt on. 

"That wasn't how I expected it to be but it will do." He smirked. "Could've been better." He walked over to me. "I'm gonna go to the gym. And you have training. I'll see you later." He said leaving. 

I got dressed and rushed to my hotel to grab my stuff and meet the team. "Where were you last night?" Kelley asked when I got on the bus. I ignored her and walked to the back. 

I sat in the row across from Hope and kept my head down.

When we got to the training field I put on my cleats and got straight to work. "Y/N." Jill called me over.

I walked over to her. "Yeah?"

"Are you okay? You're playing great but you seem a little off today?"

"I just didn't sleep last night. Pretty tired."

"Do you need a break?"

"No." I said. "Can I go back out now?"

"Yeah go ahead." She said. I ran back and continued training. At the end of the session, we went back to the hotel. On the bus I sat in the back again. Kelley sat next to me. 

"I'm not leaving till you talk to me." She said. "I know something's happening with Jake cause you're always weird around him and you've just seemed off lately. Plus those bruises that one time just gave me a bad vibe." She kept talking.

"Kelley can you shut up! I'm fine." I said. She shut up and looked at me. Some of the team turned around. "Just hop off my back!"

We pulled up to the hotel and I grabbed my back. "Just leave me alone would you."

"I was just trying to help." She said.

"I don't need help." I said. "Leave me alone." I said and rushed off the bus. 

No one's POV:

Kelley didn't move from her spot. "She didn't mean that Kelley." Alyssa said. 

Kelley grabbed her back and rushed out of the bus. "Kelley!" Christen ran after her.

Hope quietly picked up her stuff and walked off the bus after everyone else. "What is happening?" Carli asked her.

"We just need to stay together. Y/N needs us right now. More than she knows." She said.

Your POV:

I went back to my room and laid on my bed. I rushed to the shower to clean off all the sweat from practice. I looked at my bruises in the mirror after my shower. They were starting to fade.

I started to feel bad for yelling at Kelley, but she needed to stay out of it. I put my shirt on and got into my bed. I heard Tobin come into the room and go take a shower. I feel asleep but I didn't stay asleep.

*middle of the night*

"Y/N! Wake up!" Someone shook me. I opened my eyes and saw Carli and Hope. "Tobin got us. She said you started crying in your sleep." Carli said.

I took a deep breath. "Come on." Hope helped me up and brought me into the bathroom. "Carli can you give us a minute?" She said. Carli said yeah and Hope shut the door.

"Lift up your shirt." She said wetting a cloth.

"What?"

"Lift up your shirt." She said. She tired and starting to wipe my forehead. "Do it." 

I sighed and lifted it up. She looked at the bruises. 

"He did that didn't he?" She asked. I looked down. "What else did he do?" I shook my head. "What did he do?"

I looked at her. "I"

"Y/N." She walked closer to me. "Did he r-"

I feel to my knees. Hope sat down beside me and held me. "I hate him." She said. "I hate him so much right now." 

I cried into her chest. 

"Shh." She said rubbing my back. "It's gonna be okay." 

Carli came into the room and also sat with us. She patted my knee. "We aren't just a team, we're a family. We're gonna help you." Carli said.

"I need to talk to Kelley." I whispered. 

"You can in the morning." Carli said. "You need to sleep."

"I don't want to be alone." I said.

"You won't be." Hope started. "We'll stay with you."

So that night Carli and Hope stayed in the room with me and Tobin. They comforted me and we all eventually fell asleep.
