Your POV:
I was at the gym. We qualified for the Olympics. The squad was named and I was on it. Kelley, JJ, Morgan, Kling, Alyssa, Tobin, Alex, Sydney, Kristie, Sam, and Crystal all made it.
"When I was your age I was playing in my first world cup." Morgan said to me.
"Is this your last Olympics Moe?" I asked her.
"I'm married. I'm 27." She looked at me. "It might be."
"Are you gonna retire like Cheney?" I looked down.
She made me look at her. "A lot of us bit be hanging our cleats up soon." She nodded. "This is my last ride with the national team." She looked away. "I handled it when Cheney left, you can handle it when I leave."
"It's crazy. I watched you play in your first World Cup. Now I'm gonna be right beside you for your last Olympics."
She put her hand on my shoulder and looked out at the sky. "It is crazy but I've done all I needed to for this team."
Later that day me and the girls were walking around.
"So Ally turns 27 this year." Julie started. "When is one of you gonna pop the question?"
I laughed. "I don't know. I haven't really thought about that. We've both been so busy lately."
"Do it soon. I heard that Ally wants to get married before she's 30." Kelley winked.
"And I don't wanna get married at 22." I winked back.
All the girls laughed.
"How are you already 22?" Tobin jumped on my back. "Stop growing up! Stop!"
"I wish I could. I don't wanna get older." I sighed. "Cause as I get older you guys get older, and as you guys get older you start to retire! I don't wanna be alone on this team. I cried when Lauren retired! I cried at the thought of A-Rod and HAO retiring! I just had to watch them confirm their retirement. I can't watch Tobin Heath or Kristie Mewis give it up."
Kristie hugged me. "Hey I'm not that old yet."
"Me either. I'm not retiring any time soon." Tobin crossed her arms. "This is all I have!"
We laughed.
"I just miss everyone."
"We do too kid." Kling hugged me. "We do too."
No one's POV:
"With 2019 finished and done the, US Women now have back to back world cups. After winning gold in 2016 they look to repeat for the 5th time in this years Olympics. With a lot of the US stars retired they turn to the young kids."
"This is the Olympic year. 2020 Tokyo."
Ally's POV:
I turned off the TV and looked at Y/N who was on her phone.
"Let's get married." I said.
"What?" She laughed.
"I love you. I wanna be with you forever. I don't wanna wait anymore." I took the ring I had gotten last month out.. "Y/N L/N will you marry me?"
She stared at me. "Yes." She hugged me. I put the ring on her finger. "I love you so fucking much." She grabbed my face.
"I would yell at you for your language but I don't care anymore." She kissed me.
"Let's celebrate the engagement."
