Memory
It was a couple of weeks after we had talked and made up and it felt like everything was finally getting back to normal. Life seemed great and things were ok. We on our way to the mall to find something to wear for Mason's party and even though I didn't want to go I did. After spending hours in the mall, we finally went back to your place and got ready. As we headed out to the party, I got really nervous and started staring at my hands. Even though you and Mason were now in a somewhat relationship, I still didn't like her, and I didn't really know why. Maybe it was because she got to be with you instead of me and I didn't like that.
"Hey Chance, you good," you said snapping me out of my trance. "Yeah, I was just thinking," I smile. "What were you thinking about," you asked being nosy. "Wouldn't you like to know," I didn't answer. We laughed and turned up the music. We pulled up to the party and I had no idea Mason had this big ass house. That shit was huge, and the party was bumping. We walked in and were greeted by some friends. Mason walked over and gave you a kiss as she hugged you close to her. I held my jealousy in as I was disgusted by the sight of her touching you. "Hey Chance," she said as she dapped me down. I spoke back and went to grab a drink. The night was going great even though you spent most of the time in Mason's arm. I was in a circle of people playing drinking games and I was not the best, so I was drunk off my ass.
We were now playing truth or dare, and you and Mason had joined. "Alright, alright, it's Chance's turn," a guy name Collen said, "Truth or Dare." "Truth," I said not ready for what was to come. "Alright, here's a good one. Have you ever slept with your so-called best friend Blue," Collen asked. Everyone got quiet waiting for an answer, you seemed uncomfortable, and I didn't want to the answer the question. Mason sat up waiting in anticipation. I picked up the shot and took it. Everyone sighed, wishing I hadn't taken the shot. "Nah answer the question," Mason said. "I took the shot, so I don't have to," I said. "So, you did," she was smiling. You were trying to pull her back, but she wasn't having it, "Babe, leave it alone."
"I mean we are all curious. You two are really close. I know you say you aren't gay, but I mean you look like you swing that way," Cool said. I let out a nervous laugh, "No we haven't. We're just friends and you really shouldn't be judging anyone off of looks cool." People started laughing. "I think you're lying," Mason said. "Why do you care so much," she was pissing me of. "Guys stop," you were trying to diffuse the situation. "No, I want to know why the fuck she cares so much," I sat up. "Because I want to know if my girl's best friend is really just a fuck buddy in disguise," she hugged you close. You pushed her off and walked away. "Look Mason, we're just friends, but if I wanted your girl, I could take her. I mean I'm not into girls, but I bet it isn't hard," I laughed. Mason stood up pissed and walked over to me, "Say that to my face." I chugged what was left of my drink and stood up. I was mad and the alcohol I consumed had me hot. I leaned in close to her ear, "I can take your bitch from you." She pushed me and I ran at her knocking her over. I started punching her, letting out all my anger and frustration. She picked up a glass bottle and hit me in the head. She got up and I quickly recovered, standing on my feet. She rushed me and we ended up on the couch. I flipped over and got on top of her punching her ass some more. I felt a few punches land on my jaw and tasted blood. We managed to get back up and were struggling. We lost our footing and fell into the glass table. I stood about to go in on her ass again when I felt hands grab me.
"Chance that's enough," I heard someone say. "Punk ass bitch," I said wiping blood from my mouth, "Nah fuck that." I was trying to fight the grip of the strong men holding me back. "Chance stop," I heard your voice, "What the fuck. Take her outside." I saw you go over to her and got angry. They dragged me outside and tried to get me to calm down. "Nah that bitch had it coming, and she bust my lip. I should beat her ass some more," I was pacing back and forth. I tried to head back in the house, but Nelson stopped me, "C you need to come down, bruh you already going to be in enough trouble as is. You won, you got it. Mason pushed you and we all saw it coming, but chill." I listened and sat down on the curb trying to calm down. My lip was busted, and I felt a cut on my head from the bottle. I also had a deep gash on my arm from that glass table. I heard people scream and rush outside. I stood up and saw Mason coming at me full speed. She rushed me and we fell to the ground. I managed to get on top and started pounding her ass once again. She dodged and I punched the street full force. I pulled back once I felt the pain in my hand and she got up and started stumping me. I grabbed her leg and pulled her back down. I stood with my back away from her and heard a gunshot. Everyone backed up and started running to cars. When I turned around Mason had a gun pointed in my direction. I don't know where the fuck you were, but you came running out of the house.
