"I do want you to touch me, but I'm just so mad."

"I understand. Speak your mind." She said

"I can't even talk about it. I just need to calm down. I'm going to the house."

"I don't think that you should drive anywhere."

"I really don't care what you say" he said sternly

" Okay"

Zac turned around and looked at her. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to say that. I'm just mad. I know I can't project my anger and frustrations off on you because you didn't do anything. I apologize."

"I love how aware you are. It's okay. I understand. What do you need?"

"I'm not sure. I don't know what I need."

Fatima walked over to him and grabbed his hand. She led him into the house to Gladys. Fatima walked out of the room.

"I'm angry" Zac said

"I know. Me too. I refuse to let him piss me off ever again." Gladys said

"I hate him. I know hate is a strong word, but if they had a word stronger than that, I'd use that one too. I love you and dad though."

"I'm getting tired of everything." Gladys was trying not to cry and so was Zac. They hugged each other.

"I love you."

"I love you too. Glad that you came to talk to me."

"I can't take the credit. Ti brought me in here. I'm glad that I talked to you."

"She's my favorite girl."

Samuel came downstairs.

"Zac, don't go anywhere yet. I just need to talk to your mama first."

"Okay" Zac walked out of the kitchen.

"I'm sorry." Gladys said

"I'm confused. What are you sorry for?"

"All of the years that I allowed him to disrespect you. All of the times that we argued because I wanted to keep allowing him back here. For not really allowing you to have a say-so in plenty of decisions that were made."

"I get it baby, I do. You're a mother. You'd always want you kids to be safe. I see things differently than you. I just wanted to let you figure out on your own. Now you see. I'm not hurt by anything. It's fine. I just didn't want Zac to leave."

"I didn't want him to leave either, but Jeremiah pushed him to his limit. I can't blame him though."

"I can't either. I want him to stay for his last few days."

"Me too, but he's still mad"

"We can always ask." They both walked into into the living room. They didn't say anything. They seen Zac and Fatima in the middle of the living room hugging.

"Just to let you know, if you ever talk to me the way that you did earlier, I might kill you." Fatima whispered in his ear.

"I know. I love your crazy ass. It won't happen again" He whispered back.

"I know it won't. I'm about to go back up to the school."

Zac kissed her. "I love you. Text me when you get there. You got 10 minutes before I pull your location."
