Zac was finally able to open his gifts from his parents. Samuel and Gladys ended up going out for the day.
Fatima helped Zac start packaging orders. Once they were halfway done, Zac went downstairs to get the food that he ordered for them.
In the middle of getting the food, his phone rang. It was a FaceTime call from Denzel.
"Hey. The baby is fine before you ask. We just fed him"
"Okay. Y'all acting like parents now."
"We are. Mama T upstairs." He laughed
"Let me find out that you dropping hints"
Zac laughed. "No, but I know that she'll be a great mother. Even if she was, we would probably hide the pregnancy for 2-3 months."
"Why?"
"Fatima said that she wanted to. I think that it's a great idea though. There are a lot of negative opinions, and I'd smack somebody if they said anything about Fatima while she's pregnant."
"Y'all right though. Our immediate family knew about the pregnancy, but our other family didn't know until she was 7 months. I get it."
"You get what?" Fatima asked walking down the stairs
"Mind your business. We were having a grown adult conversation" Denzel said
"Wowwww"
"Don't even be like that" Zac said
"I'll talk to you later Zac."
"Ok" they hung up
"Zachary, hand me my food."
"No. You never call me Zachary."
"Fine, I just won't eat then."
"You not even mad for real. You just want attention."
"I don't. I wanted food, but I can't have it so I'm going back upstairs."
Before Fatima could turn around and walk up the stairs, Zac grabbed her arm. "Why you mad?"
"You didn't tell me what y'all were talking about."
"We were talking about something that me and you already talked about. You know that we don't keep secrets."
"Ok"
They went upstairs. They ate and Fatima ended up going home to drop the baby off. Zac went to their apartment and started putting together the furniture that arrived. Fatima ended up coming 15 minutes later.
"Zac"
"Yes" he looked up at her.
"Can you go to therapy with me?"
"Yes. We both need it. Why's that even a question? What happened?"
"Nothing happened. I'm just seeing some things that I don't like. It's coming from the un-healed parts of me."
"I get it. We can set up an appointment."
Fatima helped set the rest of the stuff up.
*4 months later*
Zac and Fatima moved into their apartment together. They decorated everything the way that they wanted.
Taraji finally opened up her own nail bar. She could no longer do nails at the previous salon because of the amount of celebrity clients that she had. A lot of people would come up to the salon, hoping that they will see a celebrity. She also made "The Shade Room" after she did Cardi B's nails.
Pauletta and Denzel have been doing well. Jr is 4 months old and everyone still spoils him, especially Taraji.
Zac and Fatima ended up graduating last month. Since the graduation, Zac quit the construction company and started working at a business company. Fatima decided that she was going to remain a teachers assistant until the end of the year.
Fatima is 3 months pregnant. She revealed it to Zac on his birthday.
*Flashback*
Fatima woke up that morning and had everything prepared for Zacs birthday.
Fatima was working with her class and instructed them to draw pictures and tell him happy birthday. The kids met Zac. They liked him.
If Fatima was having a bad day, they would say "Can you call Mr. Zac? He can make it all better"
They were excited that it was his birthday. When Fatima got to work, she ended up talking to her coworker, Danni.
They both connected. She loved Danni's sense of humor and she was always honest. After the first morning bell rang, they both went into their classroom.
Fatima welcomed the kids back to the classroom. She hadn't seen them since last Thursday because she called off.
"Can we call him now?" Eric asked
The whole class agreed. Fatima ended up calling Zac on FaceTime. The kids sung him happy birthday. They were all gathered around the room.
"Thank you guys. I'm going to come and see you guys today." Zac said from the phone
"Say bye to my baby daddy y'all" she laughed
"Bye baby daddy!"
Fatima hung up. Zac was at work for 10 minutes typing a document and realized that she was telling him that she was pregnant.
Zac left work and went up to the school. He came to the classroom. Fatima allowed the kids to watch a movie.
Zac knocked on the door and signaled for her to come out. Fatima came out and zac hugged her. "Really?"
"Yes, we're having a little baby."
"I'm so excited. I can't wait. We have to get a first doctors appointment to see our baby."
"We will. I called and they said that they'll give me a call back."
"Ok." He started touching her stomach, causing her to laugh
"This is going to be the most touching pregnancy ever."
*End Of Flashback*
Today was the first day back to school after the kids winter break, but Fatima wasn't going to be there.
Pauletta ended up coming back from maternity leave the week before winter break. The kids loved Pauletta.
*The Apartment*
Zac had just got out of bed. He can tell that Fatima wasn't feeling well. He just let her sleep. She finally woke up and tried to get dressed.
"Go lay back down. Take the day off to rest." Zac put his hands on her stomach and kissed her.
"The kids need me"
"But your body needs you to rest. It's only for a day. The baby wants you to rest too."
"Ok. At least let me make you breakfast before you leave."
"We can make breakfast together. I'm going to come out there with you."
"Ok"
Zac and Fatima ended up getting in the shower together. Once they got out, they both ended up getting dressed. Zac handed Fatima her white robe. "Got to make sure that you lay right down."
"I will."
They went and made breakfast. Zac ended up leaving for work.
