10. A win or lose?

It was already past midnight, though, the fight never stopped, aside from being hurt and feeling insufferable amount of pain with every move, Minji is also super exhausted, not only physically, but mentally too.

In past few hours Dong Min was torturing Minji, telling her about her flaws and how he hated her all those years. She is hurt, she never thought she'll receive such cruel words from her own brother, but he was able to crash her whole entire world into pieces with just few words.

"I hate everything about you!"

He yelled it with so much power that it could break the whole city, but even if he whispered it, it would be enough to break Minji.

She was trying to cheer herself up by thinking about the life after she'll win, about happy future with Hanni, about how lucky she's got to have this girl by her side. About Haerin, who's like a little sister to her, about all new people that will appear in her life.

But now she finds herself panting, hiding behind some trees and bleeding so much her body start to numb slowly.

The decision to hide in the forest was the best since the beginning of this fight. She never expected her brother to has so much people behind him, they aren't stronger, but there's too many of them.

"Ugh, they're like cockroaches, how many of them is still here?" She pant and tries her best to keep her eyes open.

Through her own rapid breathing she hears footsteps and preparing herself for another round.

Minji changes the web in webshooters and notice that it's last blast that has left.

"All or nothing" Those words comes through her mind.

She stand up on her weak and wobbly legs, trying her best not to faint right away.

"Well, well, well, look what we got here" An annoying voice is heard behind the trees and Minji looks around.

Then he comes out of the dark with a devilish smirk on his face.

"Look at yourself, little sis, aren't you tired?" He says in a "worried" tone and fails to hold back a laughter.

"Crazy motherfucker..." Minji mutters to herself, trying to stabilize her breathing.

"Why don't you just give me the flash? Then I'll let you go to your precious girlfriend" He smirks and takes a step closer.

Minji tense up, not only because he's getting closer, but he knows about her and Hanni, it's strange.

"So you say I should give you a flash to live, even though you need this flash to kill everyone?" She even being able to laugh. "You may be a great villain, but you're definitely not the smart one"

Dong Min clutches the gun in his hand and grits his teeth.

"You little brat" He says in a low voice.

Minji just give him an annoying smile and then suddenly blast her last web right into his face, making him vulnerable enough to take the gun from his hands.

"I may be a brat... But if I am, then you're a madman" She pant and shoot him in the ankles before checking if he has some important stuff with him.

She takes out another flash drive from his shirt pocket. It has the same logo as the one she has with her. Minji takes it and the gun too before walking away.

She walks weakly and seem more like a zombie, but not human.

Her vision blurs, but she keep going, not knowing where she's heading and if she'll be able to survive.

She then imagine Hanni and others, seeing their smiles and how they so close, but so distant. She tries to reach them, but fails. Hanni looks sad, she's almost crying, but don't make a move towards her.

Minji falls onto the ground, she tries to reach the illusion of her own delirium. But it's still Hanni.. She needs her

"Please... Don't go" Minji whimpers like a lost puppy. "It's cold, Hanni..." Her body trembles, she feels cold, but hot tears that streaming down her face are burning her skin.

Hanni is warm... Her body always feels warm, her hands are so warm it actually can leave a burn. Everytime Hanni touches Minji, the latter feels so warm, she almost boiling, but now she feels cold. Like when she was alone.

When she was living like a lab rat, waking up, going to work, saving people, going back to sleep. She changed after Hanni barged into her life.

Hit her like a truck and made herself so charming that Minji couldn't resist. Her smile, pout, when she's yelling, when she's scared Minji adored her whole human being, from her childish self to that lewd bedroom self.

This girl is like a sun for Minji's cold world. But the thing is, no star can warm up a dead body.

Minji stop fighting. Even without her, Hanni still will be a sun, there's no use to keep trying. She rolls onto her back and look into the sky.

Full moon was shining in the dark blue ocean that people usually called a night.

Minji takes off her mask, being able to breath properly, her hair messy, face covered in bruises, eyes half-lidded, tears streaming down her face.

"Hanni..." She breaths out before closing her eyes.

Her mind goes crazy, she can swear she hears Hanni's voice calling for her.

She feels the warm hands on her cheeks, it hurt to know that it was only her imagination. Soft and small hands caressing her cheeks, they contrasted so much with Minji's own hands. Minji's hands are very rough, cold and big, slim, long fingers always covered in plasters and bruised all the time.

Hanni's hands are very soft and warm, they're small and more like baby hands, short, a little bit plump fingers without any bruises. It is always very pleasing whenever Hanni touches her. She started to take care of Minji's rough palms since they started dating, applying hand creams and making sure to keep them warm enough, always taking care of her bruises. But there was no use, nothing helped.

Minji opened her eyes and bite her glove, tugging it off of her hand with her teeth. Her knuckles are bruised, hands trembling, but they're surprisingly soft. Then Minji remembers how Hanni carefully rubbed the cream on her hands yesterday morning, kissing her knuckles.

She manage to smile as she brings her hand closer to her mouth, kissing a bloody knuckle, tasting her own blood on it. She closes her eyes and again imagine her.

"Hanni... I so want to kiss you.." She muttered before her body goes limp. Hands falls onto the ground.

The forest is being silent, only some insects are heard somewhere, until...

"Minji!" A strangled cry is heard somewhere in the forest.
