"Hazel Lawley is pronounced dead."
said the doctor with no emotion. both Kian and Jc broke down in tears, but I just sat there not believing anything the doctor is saying. I can't believe she's gone.
Jcs POV 2 years from exact date
I can't believe it's been 2 years since the love of my life passed away. all I wanted to do today was sit at home with Kian and look at old pictures of us and remember how she died. Me. but now it's all over. I heard a knock at the door but I noticed I was in a t-shirt and sweat pants but still answered the door.
I swear when I answered the door I thought hazel was right in front of me. Kian stood up, ran towards me and almost fainted.
" Hi my name is Hailey I just moved in next door and I wanted to go around the neighborhood......" she said but started staring at my lips. she looked exactly like hazel. same eyes same hair same sense of style. the one thing that was different was that Hailey was in front of me and the other one was up in the sky watching over me.
"Sorry today is sorta a bad day for us. his sister and my girlfr- ex girlfriend died from a brain tumor" I said looking down.
"Well I'm sorry but I hope you feel better. see you guys later!" she said with excitement. And that was when I realized no one was at the door but my imagination. Hailey wasn't there. I just imagined it. This is how much Hazel meant to me.
Hazel will always mean this much to me.
