You Were Worth it

Chapter 13

Before you read, there are movies listed here that are currently in theaters. (No actual discussion about the movies). I just wanted to let y'all know that the movie releases will not match up with the season, and that's okay because it's fanfiction. Please don't come at me in the comments, lol. I don't have the energy today.

"That's not the point," Katsu said as he opened the door for Kaminari. "The point is group helps us when we can't help ourselves or get in for a solo appointment."

"I always hate the judging eyes," Kaminari mumbled. "Thank you." The blond walked through the door and into the cold winter air. "Do you want to catch a movie, maybe grab some dinner?"

Katsu debated on it before he flashed him a bright smile. "You know what, yeah. Let's grab some dinner first, then catch a movie."

"Where do you want to eat?" Kaminari asked as Katsu opened the passenger door of his blue Mazda. It was an electric blue that matched the shade of his colored hair, which, ironically, also matched his eyes. Katsu had a favorite color, and he made it half his personality.

"Is your friend Midoriya working today? Or do you not want to go eat where you work four days a week?" Katsu shut the door and quickly walked to the driver's side before Kaminari could respond.

"I don't mind. He is at work today. He only works on Fridays, which is always my day off." Kaminari closed his eyes and relaxed in his seat.

"No, that's fine. I'm always down for their steak and potato pot," Kaminari grinned. Although he ate it twice a week at least, it was one of the meals he would never get tired of. "And what about the movie?" he asked, sliding his phone from his pocket and searching the upcoming showings.

"Can you see if the Ninja Turtle Movie has any viewings tonight? Or if you really want to see the Barbie movie, I won't tell you no," Katsu replied while putting the car in drive and heading to the restaurant.

"Did you just say you would willingly see the Barbie movie with me?" Kaminari cocked an eyebrow. He could bribe Shinso with a gangbang, and he still would have never agreed. "What's the catch?"

"The Nun II is coming out soon, and I want you to watch it with me," Katsu smirked. That damn smirk kept Kaminari close. "We can watch the Barbie movie tonight if you watch The Nun II with me when it releases in a few weeks."

"I'll agree, but you need to know I don't do well with scary movies. I love them, but I'm going to jump and bury myself behind your back a million times," he warned. He did enjoy horror movies of any kind, but he was a jumpy person.

Katsu shook his head in amusement before moving his right hand to Kaminari's thigh, giving him a reassuring and comforting squeeze. "I'll hold your hand and cover your eyes if you need me to during some parts."

Kaminari smiled like an idiot as he set his hand on Katsu's, intertwining their fingers.

They sat in silence for the rest of the drive. By the time they had gotten to the restaurant, it had started snowing heavily again. Katsu dropped Kaminari off at the front before going to park the car. While he was doing that, Kaminari walked in to get them a table.

Midoriya noticed him immediately and crossed the restaurant to greet his friend. "Hey," he smiled while glancing at the blond's wrist. Although Kaminari had gone months without self-harming, all his friends still found themselves checking his wrists whenever they could. Unfortunately, they were covered by his coat at the moment. "How was group?"

"It was fine. Do you have anything available in your section?"

"I do. Just you?" Midoriya asked while looking toward the door.
