"I'm going to visit Scotland."

"What!?" My father almost dropped his beer.

"Oh... that sounds fun." My mom glanced at my dad.

"No, you're not going!"

"Dad, I'm 23. I can decide where I travel to."

"Next thing you know you're gonna wanna move in with him!"

"That's the plan." I gulped.

"WHAT!?"

"YN, honey... are you sure that's a good idea? I mean... you just met him. And Scotland is really far. We don't have the funds to be visiting you all the time. And what about Vinny and Stef?"

"I know, I know. But... there's not much here for me."

"And what are you gonna have over there? Being a stay at home wife?!"

"I'd probably find a job."

"YN sweetie... I know it feels good to have found someone that cares about you... but moving across the globe with them? Don't you think it's to soon?" My mom looked up at my dad.

"That's why I'm visiting first."

"Visiting Scotland is a lot different than living there." My mom smiled weakly.

"YN, no. You're not leaving to Scotland." My father stood up.

"I am. I just need to request a month off."

"A month!?" My parents gasped.

"Yes. A month."

"YN, think about this...."

"I'm sorry. But I'm going. We should go now."

We stood up and my mom hugged me.

"Just... be careful honey..."

"I will mom."

My dad hugged me.

"You can't leave us..."

"It's going to be okay. I still have a few weeks before I leave."

"Still... you don't even know this guy."

I hugged him tighter.

"It'll be okay."

We let go, said goodbye again and I went off with Johnny to the car.

"That could have gone worse." Johnny got in and put his seatbelt on.

"I guess."

"Are you okay?" He asked.

I nodded.

"Yeah. Forgive me, but I know this is a stupid idea." I sighed.

Johnny grinned.

"It is. But it'll lead to greatness."

"You think so?"

"I know so."

"Wanna watch a movie when we get back to my place?"

"Sure."

It was getting late.

We had dinner at my parents house and now it's 10 pm.

After a short drive, we parked the car and headed inside.

I found a note saying Stef and Vinny were gonna be out the whole night so I locked the door and we headed up to my room.

"What should we watch?"

"I don't know, I think Helluva Boss published a new episode."

"Okay."

I got some pjs and changed in the bathroom.

When I walked into my room, Johnny was laying on my bed, the TV already set up.

He smiled and pat the spot next to him.

I laid down next to him and he pressed play.

Slowly I could feel Johnny moving closer and closer to me.

I glanced at him and he was glancing at me out of the corner of his eye.

When we made eye contact, he turned to me and smiled.

I blushed and looked away.
