13. Tour

I looked out the window as Price drove on.

It was a nice place.

"YN, are you listening to me?"

"Huh? Oh, sorry. I was looking out the window..."

Johnny laughed and put an arm around me.

"You're cute when embarrassed."

"Stop..." I covered my face and he laughed again.

"Sorry, sorry. I forget how shy you are."

"I am not shy!"

"Sure you're not."

"What were you saying?"

"Oh, I was telling you about my plan for today and if you liked it."

"I'm good with anything."

"How about we get some food?"

"If you want."

"I'm asking what you want.

"Like I said, I'm good with anything."

"Anything?" He raised an eyebrow and bit his lip.

"Ew!" I pushed him away and he laughed.

"Have you ever had haggis? We can catch a train to Scotland and you can try it." He grinned.

"Haggis? Isn't that like... what is that again?"

"It kinda looks like ground beef but it's usually lamb guts cooked in a bag."

"Oh... sounds fun." I nodded slowly.

"Oh come on, do you even know what chicken nuggets are made of?" Johnny huffed.

"I didn't say anything!" I said and he pulled me closer.

"I know, I'm just teasing."

I blushed and he grinned.

I looked out the window and saw we entered What I could only assume was the base.

"This is our base." Johnny said and I nodded.

The car came to a stop and Johnny crawled over Ghost, who was still holding the sign, and ran around the car.

He opened my door and smiled at me.

I blushed and got out.

"Thank you." I laughed softly.

I looked around and then Johnny took my hand.

"I just wanna give you a quick tour, then we'll head out to lunch."

I glanced down at our hands then looked at Johnny.

"Okay, that's fine."

He smiled and we walked away from the group.

After a long tour, and wondering how much one guy could talk about explosives, we got into a car.

I put on my seatbelt and so did he before we drove off.

The food was... interesting.

I definitely already miss American food.

Johnny seemed to notice and assured me that he would cook me a more flavorful dinner.

We walked around and talked for a few hours before Johnny looked extra excited.

I looked around wondering if there was a bomb nearby.

"You ready?"

"For?"

"To see our new house! I know I didn't get it approved by you but I saw it and just had to buy it!"

"Oh... okay..."

We got back into the car and drove back in the direction of the base but took a turn into a street.

"Woah..."

These house are humongous!

They're like, three floors tall, have huge yards and gates!

"Here we are!"

"What?"

I stepped out of the car and stared in awe.

The place was huge!

"Wanna do the honors?" Johnny held out the keys which I slowly took.
