Both families flew out to Fort Sill, their kids stayed with Aubri's sister.
"Jaxson Gregory and Aubriana Gregory's family." The doctor said as he and another colleague came out.
"That's us." Patricia said as all four parents stood up.
"Do you want the good news first or the bad news?" Doctor Marshall said
"Good news." Mrs Gregory said
"Good news is Aubriana survived, she has a broken arm, a concussion, and she also suffered a miscarriage the OB on call said she was 12 and half weeks. She'll wake up when she is ready.." Dr Marshall said
"And her husband?" Patricia said
"That's the bad news, Jaxson didn't survive." Dr Marshall said
"Oh! My baby!" Mrs Gregory said as she clutched her chest.
"He suffered the brunt of the crash, the blunt force trauma to his head is what caused his death. If he had survived he would be paralyzed from the waist down. We are so sorry we did all we could." Dr Marshall said
All four parents were in tears, they were happy that Aubri was okay but grief stricken by losing Jax. They were able to say goodbye and see Aubri in ICU.
"She isn't going to take this well." Patricia said
"No she isn't." her dad said as he held her hand.
"Neither will the kids." Patricia said as she played with her daughter's hair.
Jax's parents left two days later as Jax's body was sent to Gulf Shores for the funeral. Shortly after they left, Aubri woke up and screamed and cried when she got the news of Jax and their baby.
