A week later,
Aubri was discharged and cleared, her parents had hired movers to help get her and Jax's home packed up. When she returned home to her parents place, her mom helped her tell Keely and Brody. They were heartbroken, and scared to sleep alone.
Aubri barely made it through the funeral without breaking or making a scene. Her dad held her back at the burial as it rained and she wanted to jump in the hole. Patricia had taken the kids on home so they couldn't see her like that.
Her dad stayed with her as she stood in the rain for hours and stared at the ground they buried him in. He finally got her to leave and took her home, Patricia got her in a warm shower and clean clothes.
Aubri didn't want to do anything but lay in bed, she became a shell. Brody slept with her every night. Keely slept with her the first week then moved back to her bedroom. She stepped up and helped her grandparents with Brody.
