Two weeks later,
Bucky came in after working a car crash scene he brought into the ER. He was working his EMT shift that day.
"Do you have another one?" Aubri said
"Another what?" He said
"Car crash or patient?" She said
"Oh no, I actually came back to talk to you." He said
"Me?" She said confused
He began to rub the back of his neck, "Um yeah.." he said nervously
"Is something wrong with Brody?" She said
"No, um actually I um w-would like to take you out on a date.." he said nervously as he shifted his weight back and forth on his feet.
"A d-d-date." She said
"Yes.." he said
She swallowed hard, "I um..s-s-sure." She said
He smiled at her, "Great, um pick you up at 6 on Saturday if that is good with you?" He said
She smiled, "Yeah, I'll just have my sister watch the Brody. I think Keely said she had a gig with Callum." She said
"Yeah they do, he's my nephew. I already have your number from the parent form so I'll call you later." He said
"Ok.." she said with a smile.
They both went their separate ways, and let out breathes.
"Third's time the charm." Aubri said to herself.
"She's a good one James..you can do this again and get it right." He thought to himself as he drove home.
