PROLOGUE

Prologue

"Sweetie are you sure about this?" my mom ask while I'm checking my papers na pinakuha ko sa personal secretary ko.

Nandito kami ngayon sa kwarto ko. Maging si mom and dad ay nandito din at heto kinukulit ako dahil sa balak kong pagpasok sa isang public school but I won't let my real name and real identity to be exposed in public kaya nagpagawa ako ng fake birth certificate on my own. Tss I don't need a help from my family or others. Makakaabala lang ako at isa pa, I can do it on my own.

"Yes mom. Don't worry I won't let my real name and my identity to be exposed in public. Here read and check this." I said at binigay sa kanila ang papeles na hawak ko.

Kinuha naman nila yun at binasa. Nakita ko pa ang bahagyang pagngisi ni dad na parang proud pa sya sa ginawa ko. While mom, nakakunot ang noo and then she looked at me

"Kathlyn Verra Mercedes? Saan mo naman nakuha ang name na to anak?" my mom ask and I just smiled at them.

"Nothing. I'll just search it on the internet ng mga names na kilala in public and then I saw that. It's kind'a suit in me so yan nalang yung nilagay ko." I said at kinuha ulit and papeles ko sa kanila when their finish reading it.

"But sweetie, what if mapahamak pa ang mga magiging classmates mo nyan? Once they've found out about this, you'll be doomed." my dad ask in a worried tone but at the same time happy for my decision.

I sigh. "Mom, Dad, don't worry. I'll be okay. Doon rin naman pumapasok si big brother so if anything bad happens to me, he can protect me asap." I assured them but the truth is, I won't tell to that school that he's my brother. Alam na din yun ni big brother.

At first, he's disagree. Ofcourse I'm he's only princess so what do you expect? Ayaw na ayaw nya na nasasaktan or nabubully ako. Even if I told him na I'm matured enough and I can protect myself, hindi sya kumbinsido. But when I told him my whole plan, may pagdadalawang isip pa sya but in the end, pumayag rin.

Tinabi ko na ang mga papeles ko sa drawer ko at tumayo. At dahil medyo nakakaramdam na rin ako ng gutom, tumayo na ko sa kinauupuan ko at lumabas. Ramdam ko naman na nakasunod sakin sina mom and dad kaya hinayaan ko na lamang.

Pababa kami ng hagdan when my father spoked again. "Then I'll send some bodyguards to look for you so we will also know kung ano ba ang nangyayari sa yo sa loob ng school." my dad said. I smirked.

"No need na dad. Mas lalo lang na halatain kung magpapadala ka pa ng spy sa school ko.As I've said, I can protect myself." I said.

Tuluyan na kaming nakakababa at dumiretso sa kusina. Binuksan ko ang isang cabinet and there, i saw my favorite snacks, pringles. Kumuha ako ng isa at pumunta sa sala. I sat on the sofa while eating.

Sina mom and dad naman ay nakatingin lang sakin as if they're thinking of what's on my mind right now pftt.

"Mom, Dad, relax. I just want to enjoy my junior high school life as a Grade 9 student. I know I'm done with my studies and I'm an advance graduated in both high school and college but I still want to experience of having a normal friends and classmates. Ibinagay ko na nga sa edad ko ang grade level ko eh." I laughed a bit " So no need to overthink."

Yeah tapos na ko sa pag aaral. I have my own teacher at dahil yun sa lola ko, my father's mother. She's the one who planned na kailangan at the age of fifteen matapos ko na ang college studying but at the age of twelve natapos ko na agad yun. I also have my own certificate and diploma na katunayan na nakapagtapos talaga ako ng college tss.

After that, one and a half year kong nilulong ang sarili ko sa trabaho. I have my own company. Actually it's two company ang pinapatakbo ko. The other one ay alam ng family ko dahil company talaga namin yun, while the other one, walang nakakaalam na ako ang may ari nun. Because that company is, well sa next chapter nyo na malalaman hahaha.

Napabalik ako sa ulirat ng marinig kong magsalita si mom. "Okay then agree na ko sa pagpasok mong yan. But your dad's right. You need a bodyguard. At least one bodyguard who can watch you so we know kung ano ba ang nangyayari sayo dun. Don't worry you can't sense that. Ididisguise ko sya." my mom said and smiled. I smirked

"Okay then."

"Sige na go to your room at i-ready mo na yung mga gamit mo. Your dad and I will do the rest. Kami na rin ang bahalang magpasa ng papeles mo sa school na papasukan mo." My mom assured. I smiled

" Owki thanks mom and dad. I'll go to my room now. Kuhanin nyo nalang later yung papers ko." I said as I stand up. Kakatapos ko lang rin ubusin yung isang maliit na pringles.Pinagpag ko na lamang ang kamay ko at naglakad na patungo sa room ko

Nang makarating sa room ko ay dumiretso agad ako sa swivel chair ko dito. I sigh

I have a shitty task on that school that's why I enrolled and it was all my grandmother planned. My parents don't know about this but some day, sasabihin din ni lola ang tungkol doon. As of now, I have to lie to them.

I looked at my bag na gagamitin ko sa pagpasok ng mahagip ng paningin ko ang isang picture frame. Nakasabit lang kasi ang bag ko sa wall at medyo katabi nun ang mga pictures na nakalagay din sa wall. And there I saw that picture, again.

I smiled as I felt my eyes get blurred. I don't know what happened in my childhood life but one thing is so sure about me, meron akong pinangakuan noon na isang tao. But I can't remember that person.

Napasandal nalang ako sa kinauupuan ko at ipinikit ang mata. Thinking about what will happen in my high school life. And hoping na magkaroon ako ng kaibigan na hindi kagaya ng kabuhayan ko.
