◆Island Rescue Mission II◇

"What?!!"

When the floor opened up to reveal the open sky, there was barely a second in between the moment Miyuki's feet were firmly planted on a solid floor - then flailing beneath her as gravity pulled her and her classmates down towards the wide blue expanse below them.

Instantly, panic gripped her heart as she spun around in the air. So many things went through her mind at that moment - memories of her life up to that point zooming before her as she first thought to hold down her flapping skirt - which was futile, she soon realized, when she looked down at the object tightly clutched to her chest.

The parachute!

Without wasting another second, Miyuki put the bag on her back, tightening the straps the best she could against the rushing wind before tugging on the string and activating the parachute. She breathed a sigh of relief as soon as she began to slow down in her descent, the adrenaline still rushing through her body. That part of the exercise was over, at least, and now that she was secure, she immediately looked around to make sure her classmates were okay.

Fortunately, she saw many of them floating around her with their parachutes already open and she breathed out in relief, glad to know that everyone was fine.

Although, eyes squinting against the bright mid-morning light, she noticed a few familiar faces missing from those around her -

"GYAAAAAHHH!"

"Help me...!"

"Izuku!" She shouted, undoing the strap of her parachute immediately.

"Kirishima!" Katsuki shouted, doing the same just seconds after.

"Wait, Bakugou-Kun! Sasaki-Kun!" Tenya called out to them, but it was too late - the two teens already activated their Quirks, propelling themselves even faster towards their two classmates as the body of water rushed up to meet them.

Using the streaks of sunlight around her, Miyuki created a giant orb around herself and Izuku just as they crashed into the sea with a tremendous splash.

Katsuki grabbed Ejirou's hand and the two boys started slowing down. Not as much as Katsuki would've liked, though, muscles tensing as he braced for impact - and when it came, his eyes nearly bulged out of his head when something wrapped around his neck and squeezed.

Miyuki resurfaced first, her wet hair and clothes clinging to her body as she treaded in the water. Izuku came up shortly after her, gasping and coughing for air.

"Thank goodness," she said as she quickly swam over to her best friend. "Izuku, are you okay?!"

"Y-Yeah, I'm fine!" He coughed up some water when she reached him and Miyuki's face contorted with concern. "What about! -"

"B*stard, is this how you thank me for saving you?!"

The two best friends turned around upon hearing the brash voice and they shared a disturbed look with one another when they saw Katsuki emerge from the water, holding up Ejirou by the scruff of his shirt while prying his arms off from around his neck. He cursed - rather loudly, Miyuki thought, hearing a sigh come from above them as the rest of their classmates descended into the water.

"Let me go...! You're out of danger now, you idiot, so let go!" He shouted, yanking himself free from the redhead's choking grip.
