Everyone was at the airport. Everyone was hugging and crying- the news was there asking if I was ever coming back to America since it was such a horrific story. I gave vague answers.
The whole class got their byes in first so I could save my longer goodbyes for last.
"I'm gonna miss you so much Javi!" Daysha was a wreck, I had to hold her up- as best I could manage... I still have a shit ton of headaches every now and then.
Ally was completely red in the face before she launched into a hug, gripping me like her life depended on it.
"Please come back! If it takes longer than expected, we'll come back here every summer! And we'll video call and-"
"Don't worry Ally, I'll be back!" I laughed with tears in my eyes.
Julian was last. Of course, the one I've loved so much for the past decade.
He just hugged me very tight.
"I love you so much don't forget about me!" He is incredibly tall for he lifted me off the ground just by hugging me.
Oh Julie.
"I love you too. I'll be back."
