Life has been quite pleasant since I started staying with Harvey about a week ago.

Our routine has settled into a rhythm – he leaves in the morning to check on the females and returns around noon.

I've taken it upon myself to cook for him, eagerly anticipating his return each day.

We spend our time together, sometimes working side by side, other times simply gazing at the sky from his window and engaging in endless conversations, enjoying each other's company.

And also I've had the chance to learn so much about him.

Harvey never fails to compliment my cooking, praising how delicious it is, and he often calls me beautiful and kind.

Yet, there's always an air of hesitation in his words, as if something is holding him back from expressing more.

Needless to say, I find myself blushing every time he speaks, and my crush on him only seem to intensify with each passing moment.

But you know what? I've made up my mind. I'm going to ask him to be my mate.

I've also managed to strike up a friendship with Eve. Harvey had informed me that offering food is one of a way to express gratitude in this world, so I decided to prepare a variety of dishes using deer and rabbit meat along with some vegetables.

For my own comfort, I crafted a shorter cloak that I can wear when I go outside. This way, I can maintain a bit of privacy and not draw unnecessary attention.

Eve appeared genuinely surprised when she saw me. It took a moment for her to recall our encounter at the pond, and then the realization dawned on her.

I presented the food as a token of gratitude, and she seemed a bit taken aback – probably not used to such gestures among females in this world.

Throughout our conversation, she couldn't help but comment on various things – from my appearance to the softness of my hands, and even the dishes I prepared.

In return, I promised her that I'd give her, her mates,a crash course in cooking.

And her little cubs are adorable, and I'm looking forward to spending time with them.

Eve shared an interesting idea with me-apparently, a female can make her interest known to a male by making up some food, having a chat, and maybe throwing in a casual touch.

I swear, I've been accidentally following this manual with Harvey since I landed here! It's like an unintentional flirting masterclass, and yet, the guy doesn't seem to be catching on that.

I'm practically putting up a neon sign saying, "Hey, be my mate?"

But then a disheartening thought crossed my mind – maybe there's something lacking in me that he's looking for in a mate.

Ugh, that thought just hit me like a ton of bricks. I've been developing feelings for this guy, and now I'm worried he's got some unattainable checklist in his head.

The drama is real, folks.

And  today was supposed to be a lovely riverside picnic with Eve, and I thought it would be great to have Harvey tag along.

Well, that's what I thought until I heard some shuffling outside. I had a thought it might be Harvey, since he's home today.

But then, I heard another familiar female voice, and my curiosity got the best of me.

So, off I went to the main hall, only to find none other than Qingqing and the ever-charming Parker.

Imagine my surprise! I mean, of all the times for them to pop up, it had to be when I'm getting ready for a picnic.
