Traveling to the banquet was a long journey, especially as it was taking place in the ape's territory, which was situated at the far end of the tiger's domain.

After riding on Winston in his beast form for a while, my tiredness began to set in. The muscles in my inner thighs ached.

I requested that he carry me in his arms.

Winston hesitantly agreed, and he carefully lifted me, cradling me securely as we made our way towards the gathering.

As we entered the banquet area, i found  Several females were gathered with their families, and some males were carrying fruits and meat, distributing them throughout the place.

What struck me as odd was the certain tension in the air. Many males appeared to be on edge.

Winston seemed to sense the tension as well. He slowed his pace, his keen eyes scanning the surroundings.

Just then, some  tiger beastmen approached us, their expressions serious.

"Winston, We've been waiting for your orders," one of them said.

Winston, though outwardly composed, couldn't hide the concern in his eyes as he probed for more information. "Tell me what happened," he urged.

One of the tiger beastmen responded with a hint of tension in his voice, "We've had reports of ferals appearing in the city borders scattered across different areas. They've been spotted near the wolf territory and even closer to the leopard territory."

As Winston's protective grip on me tightened, the underlying anxiety in the situation became all too apparent.

Winston's commanding voice broke the tense silence. "I'll go and talk to Clark," he declared firmly. "Inform the tiger soldiers that 75 of them will be stationed to protect the castle, the king, queen, and princess."

One of the soldiers nodded, acknowledging the order. "And what about the rest?"

Winston's gaze swept across the gathering. "The remaining soldiers should scatter throughout the tiger territory. We need them patrolling every corner, from the heart of our land to the very edge."

As his orders were relayed, Winston continued, "I want 50 of our soldiers positioned near the common border between the tiger and wolf territories. We need to be more careful there."

He then turned his attention to the protection of the residents. "Inform all the females to stay safe," he instructed.

Winston immediately made his way into certain direction holding me closer.

Clark, the leopard beastman with three stripes, turned to face Winston as he approached. Their exchange was marked by a sense of urgency.

"Clark," Winston acknowledged with a nod.

Clark wasted no time. "I've informed everyone, and leopard soldiers are already stationed at the borders," he reported.

Winston's voice remained resolute. "We need to keep the soldiers mobilized—wolves to leopards, tigers to foxes. Rotate teams every 30 minutes, with the other team patrolling the interior."

He continued, "Moreover, I'll speak to the Ape King to consider canceling the banquet."

Clark delivered the news, "I already did, but he insisted on continuing. He believes that canceling it would create sudden unrest among the people."

Winston's concern deepened as Clark delivered unsettling news.

"Winston," Clark began, "the Ape King wanted you to know that there was a sighting of Lavara this morning near the tiger territory."
