Part 17: Androids attack

After returning Maria home Chondria flew back to the training area concerned, she heard Goku's yelling and just had to return just in case. However, upon her approach her eyes widened seeing Goku gone super saiyan against Broly, spotting Gohan on the ground the bug dropped and picked the boy up. Cradling the boy, she listened to their conversation, with Goku stating nothing on who he was after.

"This is my concern and mine alone, I don't care if you want to torture her! That filthy liar will wish for death again once I find a way down there!!" Goku stated with his fists tightening, Chondria knew exactly what Goku was implying as she too had the desire to make the human pay.

Using instant transmission to quickly take Gohan home and return Chondria approached the raging saiyan, with him trying his best to keep his composure. Shooing Broly away the android would look into the saiyan's eyes, her vision going crazy on all the data she was receiving.

"Son Goku.... You need to calm down ok? I feel the same way you do; I want Chi-Chi to suffer just as much.... I know I have no relation to either of you personally, but as your guardian I am programmed to terminate anyone who hurts you...." The bug would say before Goku gently grabbed her hand and took it off his shoulder, a dead serious expression on his face.

"I can take care of myself.... I can only ask you to protect my son instead of myself; he needs it more than me at his current age...." Goku said calmly before shifting his eyes away, "You have that teleporting skill, is there any way I could learn that?" The android would stare at him in thought; she just knew what he would use it for.

"I can teach you Goku, but I'm afraid I cannot teach you with your current emotional state.... Chi-Chi will one day get what she deserves I promise, it's just right now we need to focus on waiting for my siblings to be released...." Chondria stated with her own stern expression, proceeding to calm down Goku's hair dropped and returned to normal.

"Ok Chondria.... I guess I could wait, it just hurts thinking that was what Chi-Chi was planning...." The two would continue their talk as everyone else was relaxing, all except Vegeta who knew what happened just by sensing Goku's energy.

Himself, the prince of all saiyans becoming the only one out of the three to not achieve the power of super saiyan?! He did not count Bardock or Fasha since the old man was retiring from what he heard, and Fasha just didn't have the potential in his eyes.

The prince stood in the mountains thinking about it; surely, this wasn't his fate to be the weakest of the saiyans.... He was sure despite his ego flexing everyone else would achieve super saiyan in some fashion, but a smile crept upon his face at the thought of Chondria.

"Hmph.... If there is anyone I can beat to it, it's her! She isn't a full blooded saiyan, but.... That Future Gohan could go super saiyan.... I'm guessing then that pink girl can too...." Vegeta thought before his eyes narrowed, "It doesn't matter! I'll beat them all to it!"

Vegeta would go through many hours of training as he tried to unlock the ultimate power; he kept telling himself he felt himself reaching closer and closer to it. Although the only thing he would accomplish was getting stronger, not knowing how to unlock it he tried forcing his body to it!

A week would fly by with everyone getting ready for the androids, even then, nothing seemed to happen much to Gohan and Trunks' beliefs. Even Vomi was confused, as she was sure Gero would release the androids, considering he had a tendency of underestimating everyone. However, unknown to them he had knowledge of their plans, by his spy bugs and this stranger in a coat.

The scientist was keeping his eyes especially on Gine; just something fascinated him about her.... Going over his recordings of her, he could not tell if it was because despite her small stature she was strong! Or if because of her small size that she was incredibly nimble, twisting his mustache a clown android approached him from behind.

"Doctor Gero, you said we would attack Son Goku last week! I believe now is the time to strike, especially with the tall one busy!" 19 would say with Gero turning around, grunting he turned back to his console and pressed a bright blue button with an avatar popping up.

"Frost, continue the construction of numbers 13, 14 and 15! And continue scanning that alien woman, I want to know everything about her!" Gero commanded with the avatar blinking and nodding to him, moving her hands around his desktop she looked at him through her camera.

"Of course Doctor Gero, I will gladly do that for you! In addition, update on Project 21, the additions are steadily being added to her DNA! However, I must say at this current rate, she will only be activated long after your body rots away...." Frost said with Gero grinning at her, he already had plans for that and wasn't afraid of being damaged.

"I got that taken care of Frost, just focus on everything while 19 and I take out Son Goku...." Gero said before he left, internally he had scolded himself on not starting Vomi's conversion earlier. The two androids would take off flying towards south city, or at least the small island near it.

Hours went by with everyone waiting at Goku's place, however Broly and Maria were the only one's missing as the legend was sure he could force Maria to turn super saiyan. Everyone listened to the radio waiting for the news, but of course Chondria would look to Trunks annoyed.

"If you know it's going to happen this month, then how come we don't rent a hotel room or something?! I'm sure one of us could set up a zeni scandal of some magnitude?" Chondria said with a bit of attitude with Trunks glaring daggers at her, even after so long he still didn't believe she was good. However suddenly the song playing was cut off by an alarm and noises, along with a very panicked woman.

"Anyone who can hear this, please hurry! This old man and this clown thing are shooting lasers at everyone!!" Vomi was the first one to stand up with Trunks looking over to her confused, an old man and a clown? Didn't sound like 17 or 18? Before they could even blink the human woman screamed turning into her majin form and took off, internally her evil side was winning the struggle as her anger towards her husband drove her forwards. Everyone getting ready flew off after Maja trying to keep up with Gine being the fastest, catching up with the majin both nodded to each other with everyone following the two.
