Part 12: Past revelations

Arriving back on earth Gine collapsed due to her exhaustion, the battle with Frieza had taken the toll on her strength and with her anger having ran its course she had no reason to stay awake. Chondria looking over saw the saiyan mother collapse in the dirt, a small smile crept upon the android's lips before looking into the sky seeing a large burning object.

Quickly going to the front of the ship Maja used her remaining energy to stop the ship before it would crash, not wanting everyone to die she dug her fingers into the metal as she grit her teeth and pushed. Colli quickly noticing the struggle crashed through the window over and began assisting, Bardock and everyone else were too weak to help much to their dismay.

Eventually reaching a point of safe collision speed the two women flew the ship safely to the ground, Colli upon landing immediately went inside and started getting everyone out starting with Goku.

"Don't worry Kakarot.... I'll get you to your mother...." The giant woman whispered as she distanced herself from the others, laying the saiyan against a rock mound she left as Chondria joined them with her laying Gine beside him. However the moment she laid eyes on Goku she froze, she was like a statue as her eyes went over his body.

"Injuries.... Fractured rips, broken arm, damaged jawline, torn ankle muscles.... Illness imminent from inhaling namekian ash...." She mumbled to herself catching Maja's attention, the majin looked over as the celiyan kneeled over and brushed Goku's cheek. "Processing cure instructions.... Accessing fluid storage...." The android's tail whipped around her and pointed right at Goku's arm, with a light stab it was injected into him with a light mechanical noise.

"Administering cure now...." The androids tail acting as a needle injected the fluids into Goku's body with the android giving him a sorrowful expression, Maja leaving everyone else to be taken care of began approaching the celiyan with shock.

"Project Chondria.... I had feared you wouldn't have made it here and that the others had destroyed you...." The majin woman said with the other android glancing over at her, with a stern glare Chondria got up and stood at the same height as her.

"Of course I would survive Professor Vomi, I as Dr. Maki Gero programmed me am vastly superior to Project Cell.... I have yet to test those claims though, so I don't see myself as superior to anyone...." The celiyan replied bluntly, the two began to heal and administer cures to all that had inhaled the namekian ash.

As the hours went by only Colli was separate from the group as all were still resting, wind was rushing through her hair and kilt with one thing on her mind. Light-years away her baby was fighting for his life without her to help, but she had vastly underestimated her son as every blow Broly took bounced right off him.

"Anything you say just prolongs your suffering, it's pointless to escape because you know that I will kill you!!" The giant saiyan shouted as he slammed into Frieza with a lariat, the planet was about to reach its final minutes and Frieza was terrified.

"Please!! If you help me escape, I'll give you anything!! Just help me get away!!" The lizard screamed as he tried to flee, but besides his bulky stature and form Broly quickly caught up to him and smiled. Aggressively grabbing the lizard with his one hand the saiyan formed his barrier and flew off to space, leaving Namek to explode behind him.

"You say you'll give me anything? I'll show you what I want!!" Frieza's eyes were wide as they rushed past millions upon millions of celestial bodies till they came upon a familiar one, looking down Frieza screamed before Broly threw him into the ground with many other frost demons surrounding him.

Getting his barrings he flipped over to his back and watched as the legendary saiyan flew there like a god, his grin ever sickening as he looked upon the many creatures before him.

"If there's anything I have to thank my father for, it's showing me this planet's location! Pity for you that all of you are going to die, as I would love to have my own worshippers that knew their place! But I just don't feel merciful today, so enjoy the ground you stand upon for the seconds you have!" The giant saiyan flew high in the sky with his barrier spreading out, reaching his hand out the barrier then collapsed back into his hand forming a tiny orb.

"RUN, HIDE, DO ANYTHING YOU DESIRE!! YOU WILL DIE ALL THE SAME!! AND THOSE WHO REMAIN, I'LL RIP YOU APART!!" Broly yelled with passion before he simply tossed the orb towards the planet below, everyone stood there confused however it was only then that the orb increased to a giant meteor. Even before impact the ground below started cracking and splitting apart, clenching his fists and staring at the destruction before him Broly broke out laughing.

In his crazed state he figured it wouldn't be fair enough to let all the other planets survive, so forming another blast in his hand he threw a curve ball ki blast at the star causing a super nova. Forming his barrier again he watched with a smile as all the planets were vaporized, turning away and sensing around he reverted back to his normal state.

Taking off towards earth the saiyan was debating on destroying that too, but having his thrill of destruction satisfied for the week he decided not to. Plus it would come to mind that Maja would try to stop him, which made him grunt annoyed as he flew past so many planets and stars.

Goku waking up with an abrupt start coughed into his hand as he struggled to move, his body in aching pain knew he hadn't died and surveyed the area. Knowing he was on earth was relieved to be home, but not knowing where the namekians were he tried to get up and find them. But before he could he was shoved lightly against the rock by Chondria, who by his surprise was older than the last time he saw her.

"Rest now Son Goku, your body is still fighting off the illness with my cure.... It will hurt but it is best that you stay here, as I predict you are worried about the namekians whereabouts. They have been secured and are for now being taken care of by the others...." She said before she sat beside him, sighing in relief Goku tried to relax on the rock.

"I wonder if Broly got off the planet.... I was really looking forward to fighting him.... Of course Frieza was more important though...." The saiyan said before he felt the celiyan rest her head on his shoulder, peering over her eyes widened before getting off him with a blush on her face.

"I-.... I was just trying to make sure you were at a good temperature, since often mortal beings suffer extreme temperatures when sick.... Perhaps I was too direct on my approach...." Chondria mumbled to herself not realizing her face was red, Goku despite her best efforts heard everything and smiled.

"Hey it's ok! I could use some comfort, but what happened while I was out?" Goku asked with Chondria looking over to Gine who had her back to them, she had tears in her eyes and her teeth barring.

"I'm sorry Kakarot.... I'm sorry I-.... I couldn't save him...." The mother said before coughing a bit, she was also going through the cure but the pain she was feeling was from a different source. Much to Chondria's disagreement Goku pushed himself up and shuffled over, using the android as support her son got closer.

"What do you mean mom? Who couldn't you save?" Goku asked calmly as his mother began twitching, still mentally suffering by the event and now being reminded of what happened didn't help. She stood up and glared at both of them, making Goku jump and Chondria remain emotionless.

"WHY DON'T YOU ASK MS. FUTURE ANDROID WHAT HAPPENED?! SINCE SHE SHOULD HAVE KNOWN THAT GOHAN WAS GOING TO BE KILLED BY FRIEZA!!" Gine yelled as Chondria stood there, occasionally blinking the android fell silent before her eyes closed and her head lowered.

"I had no knowledge of Gohan's endangerment, as my historical records say that Son Goku was the one killed that caused you to go super saiyan.... Chi-Chi had Gohan cuffed to his desk doing his homework in my timeline, I couldn't foresee Gohan's demise due to my history not matching now...." Chondria said, incapable of feeling severe emotions all she could do was frown. Goku was frozen though as the news hit him, he wasn't going to break down in anger though since it seemed Frieza got what he deserved.

"L-Let's just get the namekians somewhere safe, and bring Gohan back...." Goku whispered before he let go of Chondria and tried flying, but he collapsed with Chondria quickly grabbing him. The android looked over at the fuming mother and sighed, taking flight with the saiyan the two traveled to his home.

"I feel so awful for your loss Son Goku.... But my programming limits me, I feel things but I cannot act upon them...." The android whispered as she landed and helped him inside, heading to his room she laid him down and sat across from him. With him being so vulnerable her protection protocol triggered, she couldn't leave him here defenseless with her creator somewhere.

Gine eventually finding everyone in the fields outside North City landed with Colli holding Maria giggling, Maja watching the two and Vegeta away from everyone with his arms crossed. Approaching them Bardock caught sight of her and grinned, the saiyan met her half way with his arms crossed and his eyebrow raised.

"Never would I imagine it, my wife is the legendary super saiyan! If I would have known that I would have ignited that fighting spirit years ago!" Bardock said with Gine remaining silent, quickly registering that she wasn't in a good mood he knelt down. "Hey.... What's wrong?..."

"Frieza killed Gohan.... Now stop reminding me!..." Gine snapped with Colli approaching her, the tall saiyan stopped though as Bardock shook his head. The saiyan mother walked past everyone and took off west to Capsule Corp, with Colli and Bardock following close behind. As they left Maria's fixated on the direction the three were heading in, noticing her daughter's expression Maja turned and knelt down to her daughter's level.

"Honey? What's wrong?" The mother asked with Maria huffing and kicking her foot into a tree, the little girl looked frustrated before she made eye contact with her mother. A slight tear was forming in her eye, but due to her mother's notice she whipped it away.

"I-.... I was just looking forward to fighting that boy.... I-.... I felt a connection, he felt so alone and I feel the same way...." The little girl said in a sorrowful manner, looking down in embarrassment she felt her mother lift her up and hug her.

"Don't worry sweetie we can revive Gohan just like how we brought grandma Colli back, I just need to know how long the dragon balls will take to charge...." Maja holding onto her daughter took flight towards Kami's lookout, hearing legends on how the once Demon King Piccolo went from menace to Kami she wanted to meet him for herself.

Of course she could have just used instant transmission, but the world looked so beautiful compared to the one she woke up to. Then came the thoughts about Chondria's mission, it was clear she wasn't at her best. Remembering her argument with her husband all those years ago she knew what needed to be fixed.
