Jane looked over, watching as Daryl walked into camp with a string of squirrels in his hands. He wasn't exactly what she expected. He seemed more composed than his brother. As she started walking over to him, Shane blocked Daryl from going anywhere.

"Daryl, just slow up a bit. I need to talk to you." He stared at him.

"About what?" Daryl questioned.

"About Merle. There was a problem in Atlanta."

Jane grew nervous. There wasn't exactly an easy way to say your brother is handcuffed on top of a building.

"He dead?" Daryl asked, staring at Shane as the rest of group all stood back and watched, not sure what to do.

"We're not sure."

"He either is or he ain't!" Daryl shouted, glaring at Shane.

Rick barged in, "No easy way to say this, so I'll just say it."

"Who are you?" Daryl questioned, looking over at
Rick as Jane joined the party.

"Rick Grimes."

Daryl scoffed in anger, "Rick Grimes, ya got somethin' ya wanna tell me?"

"Your brother was a danger to us all, so I handcuffed him on a roof, hooked him to a piece of metal. He's still there."

You watched as Daryl shook his head in disbelief as he began to pace forwards and back, "Hold on. Let me process this. You're sayin' ya handcuffed my brother to a roof 'n ya left him there?!"

"Yeah." Rick stated.

Daryl took a step back as everyone anticipated his next move. He threw the squirrels at Rick before he charged at him. Shane quickly pushed him out the way, sending Daryl to the ground. He was pissed. Jane watched closely as he pulled out a knife. Nobody else had noticed. She had to do something before someone got seriously hurt. Jane rushed over, attempting to grab the knife as he swung it towards Rick. Unfortunately she took hold of the blade. It sliced into her hand, "Ah!" She winced. Blood began dripping down her arm. Daryl stopped for a moment to look at her when Shane grabbed him and put him in a chokehold.

Dale and Carol rushed over as Jane clutched her hand. She grit her teeth and remained watching the commotion.

"You'd best let me go!"

"Nah, I think it's better if I don't." Shane replied.

"Chokeholds illegal." Daryl muttered.

"Yeah, you can file a complaint." Shane responded as Rick crouched down in front of them, looking at Daryl.

"I'd like to have a calm discussion on this topic. Do you think we can manage that? Do you think we can manage that?" Rick questioned him.

Dale had moved Jane away from the arguing. He wrapped her hand in gauze as Carol held it straight to stop her from shaking. It didn't need stitches but it still bled like a motherfucker. She knew Daryl would be angry but she hadn't expected anything like this.

"It's not Ricks fault. I had the key. I dropped it down a drain." T-Dog explained as Daryl threw a handful of dirt at the ground in frustration.

"If it's supposed to make me feel better, it don't."

"Well, maybe this will. Look, I chained the door to the roof. So the geeks couldn't get at him. With a padlock. It's gotta count for something." T-Dog added.

"Hell with all y'all!" He yelled angrily as he turned around and began walking off.
