"Well what are we waiting for? We got the address of this farm, let's go." Dale declared

"I won't do it. We can't just leave." Carol argued looking back and forth between everyone. "What if she comes back and we're not here? It could happen."

"If Sophia found her way back and we were gone, that would be awful." Andrea agreed.

Jane watched as the group decided to make a sign for Sophia, in case she came back and nobody was there. Glenn ended up taking Carol's car to drive T-Dog to the farm so he could get help for his infection. Daryl ended up giving them some of his brothers drugs. Everyone was stressed out. Too many horrible things were happening one after another. Eventually everyone turned in for the night. Jane couldn't sleep. Carol's cries from inside the RV kept her awake. She couldn't handle it anymore, grabbing her bow and deciding to head into the woods to look for Sophia. As she gathered her supplies Daryl taps her on the shoulder.

"Where you going?" He looked her up and down.

Jane sighed, "Out."

She was angry. Sophia was her family she wasn't just going to sit around and do nothing. She needed to get up. To at least try. But Daryl didn't accept that answer.

He grabbed her wrist as she tried to go past him, "Where?".

"To look for Sophia."

It pained her to spell her name.

"I'm coming with you." He signed.

She nodded and they made their way into the forest. They walked around in silence for a while. There was no sign of the little girl. Daryl made sure Jane stayed close. It was dark. If she were to get lost he didn't know what Carol would do to him.

"Do you think we'll find her? Be honest." Jane stared at him.

"It's Georgia. She could be holed up in a farmhouse somewhere. People get lost and they survive. It happens all the time." Daryl shrugged.

He noticed the almost defeated look on her face.

"Hell, I was younger than her and I got lost. Nine days in the woods eating berries, wiping my ass with poison oak." It made her laugh.

She wanted to know more, "They found you?"

"No", He glanced at her, "My oId man was off on a bender with some waitress. Merle was doing another stint in juvie. Didn't even know I was gone. l made my way back though. Went straight into the kitchen and made myself a sandwich. No worse for wear. Except my ass itched something awful."

"Sorry." she giggled, "I'm sorry. Thats a terrible story."

He shook his head and laughed with her.

They came across a walker. It was hanging from a tree, his body chewed up from the waist down. The rope wrapped tight around his neck. The smell nearly made her gag.

Daryl turned to leave, "Let's head back."

"Aren't you gonna shoot him?" Jane stopped him.

He shook his head, "No. He ain't hurting nobody. He made his choice. Opted out. Let him hang."

Looking at the questionable look on her face her stopped, "You want to live now or not?"

She was taken aback by his question. Eyeing the hanging walker, she looked between the two. Shame filled her face.

"An answer for an arrow? Fair?"
