It was now Friday night and Niall and I were getting ready to go to the university down the road because Louis' team had a game there tonight.
It was chilly outside so I made sure to grab my hoodie, I really didn't want to leave that behind and be cold all night. I looked at the time and my eyes went wide.
"Shit. Niall!! We have to go." I yelled to him through his door. I heard him turn his music off and next thing I know he's flying out of his bedroom door nearly toppling over me.
"Woah. Calm down." I chuckle, helping to steady him and running my hand through my hair once he was stable on his two feet.
~~~
"So. What's with you and Tomlinson." Niall wiggles his eyebrows as we entered the uni and made our way across their campus towards the soccer pitch.
"Honestly, I don't know but I do know there's something there. The atmosphere just changes instantly when I'm around him you know, in a good way obviously." I sigh, my mind now flicking through imagines of Louis.
"I think someone's in looooove." Niall teases. Wiggling his eyebrows at me. I gently shove his shoulder which causes him to stumble a little bit then he starts laughing loudly.
I can't help but laugh along with Niall because honestly, it could be true one day but right now I really don't know exactly how I'm feeling yet. I don't think I love him but whatever it is that I'm feeling about him could potentially turn into love one day if anything actually ever happens between us.
"Stop thinking about it." Niall laughs, shoving me back which causes me to stumble over my feet, nearly falling over.
"Whoops sorry, for a second there I forgot you're like a baby giraffe." He chuckles but also sends me an apologetic look. I just glare at him briefly but can't help the laugh that comes out of my mouth.
"Ok. We actually need to hurry up though otherwise I'm going to embarrass myself by walking into the change rooms halfway through their team talk and I don't fancy having all their eyes on me." I say, grabbing Niall by the arm and basically dragging him along with me.
~~~
Sure enough, when I walked into the change rooms James had already started his team talk and all eyes turned to me. I gave him an apologetic smile and sit on the floor in the corner because there was no more room left on the bench for me and took out my camera, playing around with the settings.
I quickly snapped a few photos of the players listening in on James' speech and then we were all piling out of the change rooms and towards the pitch.
"Didn't think you were going to make it for a second." Louis says, walking beside me.
"Neither did I and I don't plan on rocking up late again, that was kind of intimidating having you all stare at me when I walked in." I chuckled lightly.
"Come on, we aren't that scary." He laughs, picking up his pace so he can stay beside me although I really wasn't walking that fast.
"Some of you are. Not you though, you're like this small little teddy bear." I smile brightly, dimples on full display.
"Woah. You take that back right now. I'm big!" Louis huffs, stomping his foot for exaggeration, causing me to laugh at him because of how cute he looked.
"Nope. Never in a million years because it's true, why would I take back the truth." I tease, now smirking as I look down at him.
"You'll regret saying that Harold." He shakes his head, only now have I realized that we've caught up with the team. "But for now I have to go and be a captain." He grabs my bicep delicately and squeezes it gently before going and leading his team for warm up.
