Freminet sat his small mechanical penguin, Pers, down on a rocky ledge near the shore.

Freminet had been exploring the underwater remains of the old city Fontaine for quite some time recently, it originally came as quite a shock when I first saw him diving deep into the ruins, a human hadn't roamed this far away from land in a long time.

I, myself, would not be considered human. With a humanoid torso that merged into a long smooth scaled fish tail; there was none of a kind.

Today was different to most days down here.

Freminet dove down, sinking to the sea bed (as graceful as ever) where the ancient ruins layed.

I quickly darted behind a chunk of old mortar, Freminet spunk round as he saw something in the corner of his eye, only to see the trail of bubbles that remained.

Still curious, Freminet kicked off the sand to investigate the matter, swimming with wide powerful strokes, he almost caught another glimpse of me.

I giggled to myself; careful not to give myself away in our little hide-and-seek game so easily. Freminet's expression was still puzzled, with furrowed eyebrows he swam faster, with more motive. He was almost as fast as myself.

I was almost surprised at how fast a human such as himself could go, especially with all that scuba gear, I felt as if every time I saw him he became ever so more impressive and intriguing.

I was so thrilled to have fun with him for the first time, watching him dive from a distance had been nice and all...but I wanted more than that.

I hid around another pile of rubble, breathing a sigh of relief, he was so much more agile than I expected.

All of I sudden I felt an expected touch to my torso, whipping my head around, surely enough it was Freminet.

He has a look of distress on his face as he instantly faceplanted into my stomach. He was moving at such a speed that it toppled us both over, causing us to tumble into the sand on the sea floor in a cloudy whirl of dust.

Once the cloud had dispersed it revealed Freminet's amazed expression. He didn't seem one bit frightened or disturbed...infact his face lit up as he stood back and took it the fact that he had just infact encountered a mermaid.

I wasn't entirely sure how to act at all, small talk would be too awkward and the last thing I would want would be to scare him away, we had only just now officially met after all...

As I began to entirely overthink the situation I was snapped out of my thoughts by another touch. Freminet slid his hand down my tail, gently stroking my scales, one hand reaching back up to my chest before sliding a finger down my body in awe.

His eyes were wide and fixed on my body. He looked at me so longingly that I was starting to feel embarrassed...

Pushing the situation even further he began touching the space between where my human half and my fish half meet, on my pelvis, he even brought his face right up close to it.

I blushed and turned my face away. Did he even realise that I am NOT a stupid little fish, I think just like he does, and I'm not going around touching his junk.

He kept getting more and more touchy-feely from excitement. Eventually he hit a sweet spot and with one erotic movement, caressing me gently I arched my neck back, my stomach convulsed causing him to jolt away from me.

At this realisation he looked up at my face in panic, making eye contact for the first time, and saw my lustful expression.

To be entirely honest I no longer cared if he wished to examine my body...as long as I could have his hands on me. The first person in teyvat to discover a real mermaid living in the deep remains of Fontaine's old ruins and it just had to be the one that that particular mermaid had already fallen for...

I got too flustered and writhed out from under his arms, disappearing into the murky waters within seconds, leaving Freminet dumbfounded and awestruck. His own secret mermaid.
