Freminet sat on his bed staring with a melancholy aura out the window pane, the glass held hundreds of water droplets that poured down with a satisfying sound against it, the rain was particularly heavy today.
Lyney and Lynette were both absent, they had been fairly busy recently infact, the business had been picking up quite a bit. Though it did mean I was left alone with Freminet often.
Freminet and I had been close for over a year now, we met on such a coincidence though, even if now we consider it fate that our paths had crossed.
Because of how similar we are we found it difficult to strike up a conversation for some while, we would both sit awkwardly together until it became so unbearable that we would find a common ground to start a conversation with, and once we started we didn't stop.
Lyney and Lynette both got along well with me, personally I believed that they just saw me as someone to keep Freminet company, I honestly hope not though...I wished that they would see me as closer than that.
So, today I was curled in a ball opposite the fireplace, it was painful watching Freminet have to hold in his tears when he wanted to cry or how desperately he would try to smile but just couldn't seem to show emotion.
"Hey, Freminet? You alright?"
I moved over to his bed and placed my hand over his. Freminet's hand was cold. He stopped spacing out and turned his head to me, his beautiful long eyelashes hid his frosty eyes, he was so perfect that is was painful to notice that he couldn't see himself that way.
