Rooh packed her things and placed her suitcase on the floor. Nidhi walked up to her hesitantly.

"Do you really have to go? Can't you just stay here?" Nidhi questioned.

"Mom, don't worry. I'll be fine, and Ved is a good person from what I've heard," Rooh reassured her.

"Alright, just be safe and don't cause any trouble for your boss," Nidhi warned.

"I have enough things to do. Why would I do that?" Rooh rolled her eyes.

Ved was waiting outside Vastu Udyog with Anjana and the other staff. His patience was wearing thin.

"This is what you left me for, Miss Anjana? A late assistant?" Ved complained, looking at her. Anjana lowered her head, but from the corner of her eye, she saw Rooh running towards them. A smile formed on her face.

"Sorry, I'm late," Rooh said, panting.

"You're 15 minutes late, Miss Rooh. You will be punished after this trip," Ved ordered, and then got into the car. Rooh glanced at Anjana, who assured her with a smile. They both got into the car, and soon, they left.

Didn't exchange a single glance. Focused on their own business until the flight landed in New York.

"Mr. Maheshwari, here's your key," the hotel receptionist called, handing him the key. He took it and headed towards the room, leaving Rooh dumbfounded. She followed behind him.

"Sir, you forgot to book a room for me," Rooh walked into the same room as him. He turned around.

"You're staying with me in the same room," Ved stated, taking off his coat and starting to unbutton his sleeves.

"No, wait. No, not at all," Rooh screamed. Ved turned back, astonished.

"We don't know if this room is soundproof or not, so control your voice, Miss Rooh," Ved warned her. She realized her mistake and apologized.

"But how can we stay in one room?" Rooh whispered. Ved sighed.

"We're in the 21st century. Two people can stay in one hotel room, and all the other rooms are booked. If you have another option, you're free to take it," Ved replied. Rooh sighed and settled on the sofa.

Ved came out of the bathroom, now dressed in trousers and a t-shirt.

"You can go now," he said, rubbing his wet hair.

The next day, Ved and Rooh entered Mr. Chopra's resort. Ved shook hands with him while Rooh greeted him.

"Welcome, Mr. Maheshwari. Thank you for coming," Chopra greeted. Ved sat in front of him.

"So let's start the meeting," Chopra suggested.

"Thank you for giving us this opportunity, Mr. Chopra. This is my assistant, Miss Rooh. She will provide detailed information about the project," Ved gestured towards Rooh. She began explaining the project.
