"Deal is yours, Mr. Maheshwari. You and your team did a really good job," said Mr. Hassan, shaking hands with Ved.
"Congratulations to you as well, Mr. Hassan, for your marriage and the deal," Ved replied.
"Really, Ved, Rooh, and you made our wedding sparkle. Thank you so much. Can you call Rooh? I want to thank her too," Soniya said, looking around. Ved called Vartika to go and find Rooh.
"I'm extremely sorry, sir. Rooh had an emergency. She just left the party and told me to inform you," Vartika explained. Ved chuckled awkwardly.
"I'm sorry, Mrs. Hassan. Rooh had some emergency came up. Should I call her?" Ved offered.
"No, it's alright. I have her number. I'll thank her over the phone. But thank you so much, Mr. Maheshwari. You and your team did really well. I'll remember this and will suggest your event management services to my friends," Soniya expressed her gratitude.

Rooh woke up as Mihir shook her shoulder, realizing they had reached Delhi. After freshening up at the hotel, they arrived at the court and waited for it to open. Suddenly, someone called out to Rooh from behind. She turned around and saw Shashank."Hey, Rooh. Missed me, darling?" Shashank taunted. Rooh's anger flared.
"Dare you call me that again," Rooh glared at him.
"Oh, wild cat. Don't be so desperate. Isn't it funny how you ran away without suing me for cheating on you?" Shashank chuckled. Rooh didn't respond, breaking the gaze, and entered the courtroom with her lawyer and Mihir.
They greeted the lawyer as they entered the room, and soon enough, the case began.
"Good morning, sir. My client, Rooh Sehgal, wants a divorce from Mr. Shashank Sehgal," the lawyer for Rooh announced.
"And what is the reason for the divorce?" the judge inquired.
"Mr. Sehgal cheated on my client with another woman, and Rooh witnessed it," the lawyer explained.
"Sorry to interrupt, but you can't blame my client and accuse him without any proof," Shashank's lawyer defended.
"I'm not accusing blindly. Your client did cheat, and Rooh witnessed it with her own eyes in Shashank's office in a private room," the lawyer countered.
"Do you have any proof, Mrs. Sehgal? Or are you just tired of this relationship and discussing it with your close friend, Mihir?" the lawyer looked at Rooh, who was surprised.
"No, I didn't say that," Rooh denied.
"We have proof," the lawyer said, placing a recorder on the table. Rooh was shocked that they had a recording of her conversation. Shashank smirked.
"You can't tap my phone. This is wrong!" Rooh yelled, standing up.
"Oh, really, Mrs. Sehgal? Entering someone's cabin without permission, especially at night, is not acceptable. I understand he is your husband, but he is also your boss. You can't just enter someone's cabin," the lawyer argued.
"I object, sir. He can't manipulate the accusation. It's clear that Mr. Sehgal cheated on his wife with another woman and the phone conversation don't even stating any words that tell she was tired of Mr.Sehgal ," Rooh's lawyer defended.
"Okay, do you have any proof of this other woman? Who is she? Do you have any information about her?" the judge asked, and Rooh tried to remember the face of that woman but couldn't recall it clearly.
"Do you have any proof or answer to this?" the judge asked Rooh's lawyer, who simply denied.
"Okay then, all accusations have been proven wrong against Mr. Sehgal. Do we proceed with the divorce, or do you both want a six-month trial period to try and work on your relationship?" the judge suggested.
"Yes, that's a good idea. We'll try to sort this out in these six months, right, Rooh? I'm sure you agree and will apologize for the accusation. Come on, darling," Shashank exclaimed, looking at Rooh with a smug expression.
"No, I don't agree. I want a divorce, and I also want justice for myself. I need one more chance to prove the truth and send him behind bars. Please, I request," Rooh said courageously. Shashank gritted his teeth.
"If you don't bring any proof in the next hearing, you will have to settle for six months with Mrs. Sehgal to work on your relationship," the judge concluded. Rooh nodded, and the judge adjourned the hearing.
"Rooh, calm down. We have one more chance. We'll find the proof," Mihir reassured her who was panicing.
"How, Mihir? He accused me of unfaithfulness. I spent five years with him, and he destroyed it in seconds. How could he be so cheap and disgusting?" Rooh said, weeping.
"Please, handle yourself, Rooh. You can't be weak right now," Mihir urged her.

Ved entered the office with a smile on his face, happy about sealing the deal and finding an investor for his new idea. His employees were surprised by his mood."Did he hit his head somewhere?" Rohan asked, observing Ved walking to his cabin with a smile. Vartika smacked him on the head.
"He's our boss. Watch your words," Vartika reminded him.
Ved sat in his chair, swiveling
around, thinking about the events of the previous day. It wasn't anything unique or special, but he couldn't also help but think about Rooh at that moment. He was impressed by how she handled everything, even the fight over food."She's good. I shouldn't underestimate her. We got the deal because of her, yeah also other employees too" he questioned himself and answered. He partially lifted his head to see Rooh at her desk, so he could call her. But unfortunately, she wasn't there, which confused him.
He waited for fifteen minutes, but his patience wore thin. He called Vartika."Where is Miss Rooh, Vartika?" Ved asked.
"I don't know, sir. She didn't came today, and even didn't inform me. Is there anything I can do?" Vartika responded.
"No, you can go. I'll handle it, thankyou" Ved dismissed her, and Vartika left the cabin.
"She didn't came, but why? I was waiting for her. Who will do my work?" Ved exclaimed, frustrated.
"Argh, I wanted to start my day by teasing and mocking her, huh," Ved shrugged off his thoughts and tried to focus on work. But it didn't last for long. He stood up, pacing around the cabin, continuously glancing at Rooh's desk. He tried calling her multiple times, but she didn't answer.
He entered his house with a worn-out coat on his shoulder and a slight anger on his face. He threw everything down and collapsed on his bed, sighing.
Ved's POV:
What could be the reason? Why didn't she come or inform anyone? So irresponsible, such a senseless girl. Oh God, why do men have to provide women with brains? Can't they have their own brains? Nevermind, I'll punish her tomorrow with extra work. Wait and watch, Miss Rooh.
