"no matter, where life takes us. nothing can break us apart. you know it's true, i just wanna be with you." desiree sang quickly as she zipped up her heeled boots.

"still stuck about what happened?" maddox said leaning on the doorframe.

"i can't believe i'm singing just wanna be with you on stage with jet. that's a romantic song, that's a gabriella and troy song, that a gina and ricky song."

"gina and ricky aren't dating." maddox said. "i know when people are dating, and i bet you 10 bucks they're dating." desiree said.

"whatever."

maddox walked over to her, sitting next to her friend on the bed.

"gina and troy are still gonna sing the song, you and chad, jet, are gona have a song too. taylor and chad don't have a song so i guess ms. jenn just wanted to give the second couple appreciation." maddox said.

"no, i can't sing it with him." desiree said sighing.
"maddox, between me and you, us acting all romantic came too natural today. i don't like it, i'm done with him."

"you also said you were done with acting and here we are." maddox shrugged.

"i'm gonna-" desiree started picking up a pillow from the bed.

"hey uh, moms ready to drop us off at the party." jet said knocking on the open door.

"let's go, maybe there'll be a different type of treat at the party." maddox said winking at desiree.

desiree squinted her eyes at maddox, indicating her to stop.

"are you done."

"yes."

jet, desiree, and maddox all walked into gina's house, following the sign up the stairs that said, "follow if you dare"

"well i dare, so let's go." desiree said, walking up the stairs and into the attic.

she guess this is gina's area or room because loud music was heard so the party was obviously here.

"happy halloween!" "what's up!" maddox and jet said as the three of them got to the top.

everyone cheered and wooped as they walked in, looked at their costumes.

"wow you look great!" ashlyn said loudly obviously towards maddox, and everyone went silent.

"was i yelling?" she said, awkwardly smiling. "um what are you guys?" carlos said.

"what are you?" desiree said looking at his all black outfit.

"you don't want to know." gina said and desiree nodded.

"hold on, have you not seen shangchi and the legend of the ten rings?" jet said.

they all shook their heads, "well we're gonna need to fix that because michelle yeoh." maddox said laughing.

"so what does that make you?" carlos asked desiree.

"you can't know, the rest of my costume is on the way..so. yeah." desiree said.

"oh, hey, hot eleanor roosevelt." maddox said to ashlyn.

"you got that? of course you got that." ashlyn said. "i'm chill."

suddenly a loud whistling was blown and ricky came up the stairs running, "let's get this starty parted! nope, let me come in again sorry."

he ran back down the steps, and ran up pretending to swim and go underwater.

"okay is this a zac efron deep cut?" gina said, "i literally cannot wait to explain it to you." ricky said.

"oh and des, here you go." ricky said handing her a bag. "thank you richard." desiree said walking down stairs, and as she did the doorbell was rang.

she walked passed a weird guy with a creepy pumpkin hat, choosing to ignore it as she was creeped out herself.

desiree went to the nearest bathroom, checking her perfectly done curls again.

she opened the bag seeing everything she needed, all the things to perfectly spice up her boring black dress and black boots.

"let get this starty parted, oh come on!"

a few minutes later, desiree walked out the bathroom, still not done but just wanted to see how she felt.

then she saw kourtney walk in with a bag and a harvard hoodie on.

"oh my cruella, des you look beautiful!" kourtney said hugging her.

"thank you, and i'm loving the hair, and i'm loving the hoodie. so i'm guessing you chose harvard?" desiree said.

"nope, i have all the sweaters here to try on. i have no idea." kourtney said.

"hey, don't worry. you'll find the perfect school for you kourt. go enjoy the party, i'll be right up." desiree said as kourtney smiled as she left.
