all the juniors, sophmores, and freshmen's sat in the large field behind east high, where was best known for where the graduation scene was held at the end of high school musical 3.

and now it was where the graduation was being held at the end of this book.

jet sat next to gina, them both staring at their significant others who were sitting in their red cap and gowns.

the principal was finishing off his speech, and jet just wanted him to hurry up so desiree could speak.

"and now, without further ado, i want to introduce this year's valedictorian, who has only been here for only a few months and has excelled greatly in her studies, ms. desiree hendricks."

everyone cheered loudly, jet being heard over eveyrone. "that's my girlfriend!" he yelled, and desiree laughed at him.

"yes desiree!" kourtney said from her seat with the other's seniors.

all the drama club kids were together, and were the last ones to cheer.

well, someone else was.

"i practically raised her!" dewey yelled out, and everyone laughed at him.

"hey everyone, and congratulations all my fellow graduates! and to all the parents and guardians as your child is finally done with this awkward moment in their life." desiree said, and i few parents agreed and laughed.

"as for my graduates, what the heck, no more pencils, dirty looks, sometimes annoying teachers. at least for now. or, you're going to a university, community college, training for something, and you're ready to succeed strongly. no matter what, you're ready now because high school's over."

"all the pain, and the tears. especially my athletes. you can finally take a break as long as you want."

"high school, to me, is where you learn the most valuable lessons. you find out who you are, how you comprehend and do certain things. you see who your real friends are, and much more."

"like for me, i met some great friends here at east high, shout out to my drama kids." she said and they all cheered.

"had amazing teachers, and a great director, ms. jenn. but here i also learned about second chances, and true love." desiree said as she turned to jet.

"but honestly, it's surreal. 4 years ago, i was a freshman and i was scared of things like freshman friday, which in the school i went to was an actual thing. and now i'm at east high, where is somewhere i would've never thought i'd end up."

"for one...i didn't think it was real until i was like..13." desiree whispered and the crowd laughed.

"but that's all in the past, because now it's time to move on to bigger and better things, and with the people i deeply love."

"so, for one last time...what team."

"wildcats!" the crowd and graduates yelled. "what team!" desiree yelled.

"wildcats!"

"wildcasts!"

"get your head in the game!"

the crowd stood up, giving desiree a standing ovation, as she gave a bow and then walked back to her seat.

"hey look it's them!" ashlyn said, as she spotted ricky, kourtney, and desiree.

they all turned, seeing all their friends and ran up to them.

"my graduates!" ms. jenn said as she hugged the three of them.

everyone started talking, smiling at whatever they were talking about, including all the parents.

"des." jet said as he walked up to his girlfriend. "hey." desiree chuckled, wrapping her arms around jet's neck and hugging him.

"your speech was great, especially the part about me." jet said before kissing desiree, putting his arms around her waist under her gown on her dress.

"i'm glad you caught that." desiree smiled. "and you look great, light blue is a great color in you. so is this necklace."

jet picked up the necklace with the j and gem next to it. "thank you, a really handsome boy gave it to me."

"he seems great." jet said, and him and desiree leaned in to kiss again.

"hey, you've kissed more then me and gina today. now come and take a group photo." ricky said.

desiree shook her head, and jet mouthed a curse to ricky.

they interlocked their hands, taking a photo with all the drama kids, then with ms. jenn and finally with the parents included.

"guys were gonna go on a walk." desiree said to everyone.

"meet at the front of the school when you're done, we're gonna go eat." carlos said.

"sweet, i'm starving!" ricky said loudly.

desiree and jet held each other's hands, and began to walk.

"hey we never..talked about what's gonna happen when you go to college." jet said

"what do you mean?" desiree said, acting oblivious.

"come on des. you're smart. howard's in washington dc, that's across the entire country." jet said.

"30 hour drive, 4 hour plane ride..i-i know." desiree said quietly.

"well jet i don't want us to break up." desiree said. "we don't have to."

"i was thinking about it, it's also a 2 hour time difference. so if we can set up times to call, and we can always text. we'll be okay." jet said.

"okay, you're right. and i trust you won't cheat on me or anything, cause i promise i won't. desiree said.

"i trust you too."

"so we'll be okay." desiree and jet both said at the same time.

desiree pulled jet in for a big hug, holding him tightly.

"we have all summer, let's just make the best of it." jet said into desiree's shoulder.

"okay." she whispered.

"and we can listen to that silly english kpop song you like." jet said.

"the feels?"

"yeah."

"i don't get why you like it so much." jet said as him and desiree pulled away.

"oh come on, it reminds me of us." desiree said as her and jet started walking again.

"you're joking."

"boy i, boy i, boy i know, i know you get the feels." desiree said as she danced slightly.

"i know, love, it is such a funny thing, a mystery allure, gotta get to know you more. 'cause i, i can feel a real connection, asupernatural attraction-ah."

"i guess it's a good song." jet said, as he and desiree spotted their friends.
