Hello, everyone. I'm y/n, and this is basically how my story begins. What if I were to tell you that there are unexplainable things, things that we as humans didn't know existed? What if I told you that all the legends about werewolves, vampires, and witches are real? I know it sounds unbelievable, and I understand if you don't believe me.I mean, who would? But before I dive into all of this, I think it's essential to tell you something about myself. As I mentioned earlier, my name is y/n, and I'm 16 years old, I was born and raised in London, and I'm intersex.
When I was seven years old, I was adopted by my loving parents, Petter and Rachel. They were the best parents anyone could have asked for.
They cared for me and loved me as if I were their biological child. Tragically, they passed away in a car crash when I was thirteen. Since then, my uncle Sam has been taking care of me, and it's been three years since that fateful day.
A few months ago, a woman came to our house, claiming to be looking for my parents. Apparently, they were working on something important together before they died. My uncle immediately recognized the woman, and his expression changed completely.
He introduced us to each other, and it turned out her name was Caroline Forbes. She seemed strangely familiar, yet I was certain I had never seen her before or heard my parents mention her.
What puzzled me even more was that she appeared to be closer to my age, not someone my parents' generation. As we began chatting, Caroline revealed that she is from a town called Mystic Falls and was the head of a school known as Salvatore School.
The conversation flowed naturally, and Caroline spoke fondly of my parents, sharing memories that stirred emotions within me.
Her eyes sparkled with affection as she mentioned her twin daughters, Lizzie and Josie, who were just a year younger than me. I could sense the love in her voice as she spoke about them, and it became evident that she missed them dearly.
One of the reasons Caroline came all the way from Mystic Falls was because she had planned a special trip to my hometown with just her and her twin daughters, as spring break was just in three days.
She asked me if I would like to spend the spring break with them, showing them around. Of course I said yes, I was excited to meet them, especially after seeing pictures of Josie, who looked really cute, plus I heard she is into girls so who knows maybe I should shoot my shot.
As the evening wore on and the hour grew late, I decided to call it a night and headed to bed, leaving my uncle and Caroline to catch up, It seemed they had much to discuss.
Despite the genuine warmth in her words, I couldn't help but wonder why my parents had never mentioned her or the school before.
I couldn't help but feel that this encounter with Caroline and the mention of the Salvatore School held more significance than I initially realized.
Little did I know that this strange meeting would set in motion a series of events that would forever alter the course of my life and reveal the hidden secrets of the supernatural world I had yet to discover.
The next day
I awoke to the sound of my alarm, reluctantly pulling myself out of bed. Even though I'm not much of a morning person, I've recently taken up running in the early hours to clear my mind. I shuffled to my closet and grabbed a pair of shorts along with a simple grey t-shirt.
Moving carefully through the house, I took slow steps, mindful of not disturbing my uncle. It was still quite early, and I knew he had stayed up late catching up with Caroline.
