It's the next day already, and I'm still in bed, still trying to process everything that happened yesterday. I can't believe Hope and I almost kissed. Oh yeah, and the supernatural world things too. I can't believe I'm at a school full of supernatural beings; this is amazing, honestly.

Maybe now that I know about everything, they'll let me stay here. I mean, this place is one hundred percent more awesome than Mystic Falls High... Still, I can't believe Dana is dead, and Connor too. They were assholes, but they didn't deserve to die, and most certainly not like that.

I hear someone knocking on my door, and I let out a groan. It's seven a.m, people. I pull the covers over my head. "Who is it?"

"Y/N, it's me, Josie. Open the door."

"It's seven a.m., woman, let me sleep."

"Y/N, if you don't unlock this door, I swear I'm gonna blow it." She wouldn't... right? I scoff,

"You wouldn't."

I try to go back to sleep until I hear Josie coming in. "How did you do that? The door was locked."

She giggles. "I'm a witch, Y/N."

I groan, "Go away, it's too early."

"Y/N, come on. Dad is gonna make an announcement and we have to be there," she insists. I just ignore her, attempting to catch some more sleep. She sighs in annoyance and starts pulling the covers off me.

"You're so mean in the morning," she rolls her eyes.

"Y/N, put some clothes on and let's go." I was only wearing my boxers since I don't really need to wear a bra because I always had a flat chest, and since I worked out a lot, you get the idea.

"Fine," I get out of bed and start to dress in the same clothes I had on yesterday since I don't really have anything else here. I go to the bathroom to do my morning routine, and thankfully, Dr. Saltzman gave me a toothbrush last night, so I can brush my teeth.

I come out, and Josie starts to drag me out of the room. I wonder what the announcement is about; I guess it's something important. We look around and see Lizzie, and she saved me and Josie a seat, so we go and sit together. It looks like we arrived just in time because Dr. Saltzman is ready to make the announcement.

"Given recent events, some students have expressed concerns that I'm not allowing you to have a say in decisions that affect your future. And I agree. If you're expected to abide by this school's policies, it's only fair you have a voice in how those rules are made,"

I see Jo and Lizzie fist-bumping each other as Dr. Saltzman continues, "So, I'm forming an Honor Council. One vampire, one witch, and one werewolf each elected by their peers, along with our school counselor Emma, whose vote will represent our younger students. I have to go off-campus, and in the meantime, I expect you to make good decisions and to vote wisely. That's all, you're dismissed."

"We need to start my election campaign," says Lizzie, very excited.

"Actually, I need to go to your dad's office. From what I understand, I'm going to do a set of tests to see if I'm supernatural and I can stay here," I respond.

"Okay then, see you after you're done, okay?" says Josie.

"Sure, see you later," I reply and head towards Dr. Saltzman's office.

I enter the office and notice Hope and Landon engaged in some sort of disagreement. "What's going on here?" I inquire.

"Dr. Saltzman wants me to administer your tests," Hope responds.

"Oh, well, alright," I say.

Landon interjects, "No, it's not alright. There's no way I'm putting my future in your hands. You're biased."
