and Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR helps her to rise to her feet and he says " Lord Andrew Charles talks about nothing else than you Mademoiselle Karissa."
"I am sure that he could find other things to talk about other things than me." Karissa answers.
"Once my son gets something in his head there is nothing stopping him." Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR explains.
"No disrespect Sir, but have you ever thought about cracking something across your son's head." Karissa asks with a laugh.
Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR starts to laugh ,
"You have charm, wit, and much character, Mademoiselle Karissa. I can see my son is so besought with you." Lord Charles Andrew JR tells her.
"I am a very plain, and simple girl and I come from a middle class American family.' Karissa tells him.
"Mademoiselle Karissa. May British Aristocrats married wealthy American heiresses during the Gilded Age." Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR explains.
"Sir. Those ladies came from rich upper class families in The United States and their mothers wanted to see their daughters receive a title." Karissa explains, "None of them were happy."
"I come from neither an upper class wealthy family." Karissa answers.
'In fact, I am a war orphan from Post World War Three Planet Earth. " Karissa explains.
"The only thing I bring with me is the fact I was not affected by the radiation sickness and I am fertile and many of those that were affected were found incapable of having children." Karissa tells him.
"The other 248 young women that came with me were also unaffected from it, and the other 250 young men." Karissa answers.
"I am only 19, and I don't adhere to the aristocracy and I don't seek a title for myself, I don't seek property. I just want to be happy and rebuild my life if possible." Karissa tells him.
"Mademoiselle Karissa. My great-grandfather fled Pre-World War Three Planet Earth from Europe in 2153 and while he was journeying to Star Base 12. One day later his whole world disappeared overnight." Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR states "He didn't start his family until late and he only had my grandfather, but my grandfather had four children, my father had four children but with my Duchess, we had five children." Lord Charles Andrew JR explains.
"Lord Andrew Charles is besought with you. He loves you and I would hate to see my son hurt or his heart broken." Lord Charles Andrew JR states.
"I have no intention of breaking anyone's heart Sir, as I have had my heart broken.' Karissa answers.
"I have agreed to date your son, but I have not agreed to marry him." Karissa explains, "Lord Andrew Charles will in time ask me, and at such time I will think and consider his offer."
"I want us to keep our dating clean and friendly." Karissa explains.
Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR smiles and he thanks Karissa for her honesty.
